A must! - Amazing! Such a fun experience. The sea lions were a little shy the day we went out but we saw many other animals.

two words: Un-forgettable! - When you initially jump in, the chill of the water overwhelms your senses only to be instantly dissipated, as your adrenaline rushes whilst you swing about surrounded by these curious, lovely and playful animals, after 20 minutes, you are not even feeling cold! A breath taking, memorable experience. The guide and boat driver were excellent, patient, even assisting those that were "not swimmers", (btw everyone turned into a swimmer with the life vests we were wearing). Fully recommend it! What a thrill!

Great morning out floating with the sea lions - Such a great half day adventure and a unique experience to swim in the ocean with these curious creatures. For anyone complaining about it not being a 'yacht' or the 'snacks' were not up to standard, you are missing the point of this adventure. It is a only a few hours of a boat trip not a full day, snacks are a bonus & you don't need a yacht.. It was a great boat for what the trip requires and the trip was actually not rough for us this day which was also great (it is of course the ocean and nature decides what will happen, so obviously if you get sea sickness, please just take the sea sickness tablets to help avoid this). The islands on the way out are unique to anything i have seen before and hearing the information about them was fantastic. Especially since i was the only english speaker on the boat, the information was relayed to me in English along with the spanish. (I did practise my spanish understanding first and compared it to what was then relayed in english to it was also a good spanish lesson for me). The swimming (floating) itself was the highlight of the trip of course. The sea lions were so curious and came over to see us and play a little around us. Definitely a memorable moment and i am very happy i chose to do this tour. The tour itself is great, well organised, everyone was friendly & attentive, i knew what was happening at all times.

Nice walk and swim with spectacular sea lions! - We were able to see many birds and even penguins! Swimming with the wolves was the best, we were very close to them in the water. The ride was very nice and very well organized by Vista Adventures. They picked us up from the house in a very modern van and a very good driver. Suoer recommended!

sea lions & cold plunge, too - So fun!! Beautiful day! The smell is quite bad when near the sea lions. Wouldn’t make plans afterwards if getting in the water. Will want to shower.

Wonderful nature expedition CLOSE to Lima - This trip was fantastic. I booked it last minute (literally 1am) and they were able to pick me up and bring me to the rest of the group from my hotel. The guides took us on the boat and slowed down to show us all the wildlife including penguins, boobies, and sea lions. When we arrived at the big island, we got into wet suits (provided by tour) and jumped in to get up close to the sea lions. They were curious! Note that the water is rough, so if you have a hard time with boat sickness, this may not be the trip for you.

Swim with sea lions - Very nice tour, spectacular places. Being close to the sea lions like this was an exciting experience. I also liked the stealth of my accommodation.

Better than Paracas. - Better than Paracas. I was initially hesistant to attend this tour because i thought "swimming with the sea lions" might be invasive, but in fact it was the opposite. It was actually the sea lions, who left their island to come swim with us! They were very curious, but never touched us. I'd say i stared a sea lion in the face from 6 feet away. Once in a lifetime experience. And vista tours was phenomenal with picking me up, dropping me off, and all of the tour guides on the boat were great too. Isla palomino is a must see if youre in lima. And the penguins!

Excellent sights and experience suffering from not so good preparations - Experience itself, the tour and the swimming parts were great! Also the crew (Rodrigo and Diego) was nice and had a good sense of humour. Have to take couple stars away since the pickup was late almost an hour and communication related to the issue was not so good. Another issue was the not so good preparation for sea sickness issues, a couple of people vomited on the floor that could have been avoided with buckets handed to people signaling they're not feeling well.. Also the boat should have a roof on these conditions that include very strong sunlight straight from above.

Great if you’re a strong swimmer - Mixed review. If you are a strong swimmer, do it. If you’re not, it will be a challenge. You have to swim 50 meters to get close to the sea lions and the water will fight you. Don’t expect to be able to just float over. Pro tip: Sit on the left hand side of the boat for best views.
