A gem in Calgary - We enjoyed Heritage Park very much. The train ride, wagon ride, Ferris wheel, costumed characters and all the buildings were very interesting. The bakery had huge cinnamon rolls. Lots of people but managed very well. Friendly staff and really brought history back to life. Gasoline alley had many beautiful old vehicles and signage from yesteryear. We were there for 5 hours n

Drew’s Saloon Stole the Show - Had an amazing time at the Railway Days. There were so many events, I felt like I didn’t have enough time to see everything! Will definitely be coming back to see what else this place has to offer. Drew’s Saloon was an absolute treat! We were graced with the presence of “Boston” who regaled us with his historical expertise. I truly cannot explain what a great experience this was. An incredible atmosphere. Will definitely visit again!

Plenty for the eye to see - Gasoline Alley was excellent as were all the old buildings resurrected at the site along with the steam railway. Unfortunately on the day the steamboat was out of operation. But for those with children it also provides an education into the past and for example the dangers of mining. Plenty to see and photograph with numerous refreshment sites. Most of the staff were superb like Janice and Brian but one or two need a little less reticence but that may have been because they were young. Overall a superb place to visit for natives and visitors.

Canada 2023 - Loved this park. So much to do it is hard to do it in a day. My husband wasn’t feeling so well the day we went so we did not get to enjoy as much as we wanted too. I definitely would like to go back. So much history and things to see and do. A great place for families. A lot of walking is the down side. This place is huge. So much to see and do. Definitely go here if your in the area.

Great Transportation Museum - We enjoyed the museum of transportation immensely! We road the steam engine and walked around some. Many of the activities were more appealing for younger children. The grounds were clean with pretty landscaping.

We loved the Nellie... - We loved the Nellie McClung house, the schoolhouse, the carousel. Most if all, we enjoyed the train ride and talking to the various employees who provided so much wonderful historical information.

Absolutely great day - We arrived on a Saturday half an hour after they opened, but still found parking in the closest lot The timing was perfect for the entire 3 hours we spent at the park. After paying for admission, we checked out Gasoline Alley and after a short walk we arrived 3 minutes before the train left. We circled the park on the train and arrived just 5 minutes before the paddle wheel boat departed. At the end of the boat ride, we went to the bakery for sausage rolls and their famous cinnamon buns.

Nice park a lot for kids to do - My husband and I had a good time there today. There are a lot to see but like my husband pointed out in Gasoline Alley there are fun facts about the cars but not anything real interesting information about the cars. The cars are amazing though and totally worth seeing. We also liked the train part where you can walk through 3 different train cars that was very interesting. We had a really nice time walking around the park and I really liked the place just wished the signing was better and I really don’t understand the train it’s really confusing how it doesn’t run very often and then it skips every 2 station what that’s good for I just don’t understand.
