Amazing - Amazing! Very nice people and fantastic experience! Highly recommended!! The spot is very good to learn to surf and the instructors are very nice and helps you a lot! I learned a lot of things in two days, I would have had the possibility to stay more time in lanzarote to surf with them some more times!

Impeccable team - The Calima Surf School team is impeccable, from the first contact, to receive complete information about the courses, to the teaching of the classes. Maximum professionalism, super clear content, very good technique and good vibes during classes. You can see the years of experience and that they love what they do.

Family surfing and Famara - The friendly instructors were great. I've surfed a fair amount before and took the intermediate lessons while my daughters took the beginner lessons. We all had a great time.

Easy learning of beginners lessons - Good professional teachers, the tempo of teaching is perfect, not too fast, but steady with repetition where needed. I can recommend this surf school!

Fun time, great instructors - Surfing was great fun, they have a very great culture and friendly instructors! It would be better if they took photos while you surfed, but still great time regardless.

Surf Camp - Wouldn't go again. FYI, my standards were quite high as I had done some great camps in Portugal, and this didn't come close. I changed wetsuits 5 times and still didn't get one that would fit, it would either be short on me or loose, so limited options for wetsuits, also very annoying trying so many on for nothing. My 1s day was told the conditions were good for surfing when I asked, so I rented equipment (paid extra) and went surfing, and the conditions really weren't great. Was also told there would be a photo session at 16:00, there wasn't, the guy got the time completely wrong and it had already taken place in the morning. I had 3 different surf instructors during 4 days, and only 1 was good. One of them literally said nothing to me the whole time in the water and just wandered around ankle deep in. On top of that he first took us to a place full of stones (without giving people water shoes as other camps do) where I was clearly struggling to walk in, only when another girl came out of the water we switched places, we also lost like at least half an hour walking on the beach, so we spent roughly 1 hour in the water (lesson is supposed to be 2 hours). That's soo not worth €45. Another instructor also not the kind that goes with you in the water, but rather just goes ankle deep in and gives you some points. Not as good as when they are actually next to you in the water. If you get the chance to choose your instructor, Alberto is definitely good, only reason this camp wasn't a complete disaster. He's next to you in the water, can you give a push which sometimes can really help, and also good different tips. They don't drive down the beach based on weather conditions/ people's levels, it's always the same spot, that kinda sucked. Typical accommodation with old furniture that makes a lot of noise (e.g. doors). Unless you get a room on the ground floor shouldn't be too bad however. Half transparent bathroom door window (maybe not the best choice). Overall, it kinda felt like making a quick buck on their side. Not related to the camp, but Famara is pretty boring if you don't have a car to drive around, and there are some rocks in the water here and there, nothing right on the beach for food/ drinks, so really is just the surf. I wouldn't recommend the place for 1st time surfers, definitely go to Portugal instead or Morocco. Also as a piece of advice, maybe go with small/ family business type of camps, they tend to be better value for money.
