Excellent experience due to Tour Guide who spoke excellent English and was a very knowledgeable and experienced shopper - Our Tour Guide (Jessy sp?) knew many of the shop keepers and which shops were reasonable. Our favorite shop sold leather goods, most of which were produced on site above the shop. We also had a wonderful lunch.

Personalized Shopping Services, Not to be Misssed! - Cairo shopping personalized for you! Mohamed Hamed was very responsive to our shopping needs and desires, and tailored the experience so that we were able to enjoy our time exploring the markets of Cairo. We had an excellent meal, and had a fun time learning more about Cairo from him. We added a Nile boat cruise at sunset (our final day in Cairo), and he and the driver timed it perfectly so that we were able to enjoy a relaxing ride to culminate the shopping afternoon, watching the sun set and then seeing the city at night. It was a great way to finish our time in Cairo, and we appreciate the personalized touches that made it a great trip!

Great tour! - This was a great tour! Our guide wanted us to acquire what we needed so made the tour about us! He was informative and ensured we were not pushed around by vendors, always stepping in when necessary! The market is a must see!!!

Bazaar shopping. - Ahmed himself deserves 5 stars for his honesty. Thank you for taking us around the bazaar old markets. Be prepared to bargain, never settle for the first price. If you want to go somewhere with set prices and no bargaining, just ask. There was an area upstairs where everything was wayyyyy cheaper!!

How to enjoy Egypt - The market was a lot of fun if you make it that way. We talked to a lot of the vendors and joked with them. Very nice people. Keep in mind this is their living. They will try to push their goods but have fun with them. In the end if you are not happy with the deal just tell them, maybe tomorrow and walk on. The Pyramids were so great to see. I would recommend Audie for the sights only because they know the people and area. Just be sure to have a lot of small bills because everyone wants a tip. Be sure to have hand cleaner, you will use it a lot.

An Amazing Experience! - The Khan el Kahlili market is something that has to be experienced rather than described. It was amazing, overwhelming, stimulating, fun and confusing all at the same time. What might have been an intimidating experience for first time visitors was made made fun by our awesome guide Rasha. She guided us through a winding maze of streets and shops, helped us negotiate with vendors, covered all of the highlights of the market, and got us back to our hotel safely. If you're planning your first trip to the market I highly recommend Rasha and Emo Tours!

Wonderful Tour of Khan El Khalili and More! - I booked this tour with Emo Tours and had the most wonderful time. Ahmed Tonsi was my guide and he did better than Great. The tour was completely irganismzed around what I wanted to do. We started with a walking tour of Khan El Khalili Bazaar including primarily parts of the market that most tourists don’t see. Ahmed was great with the vendors and he knew in detail much about this great place. He was also invaluable in helping me get the best prices. We then went to the other side of the market and I was able to find some things for my flat that I really needed. From there we ended the tour with a walk down the famous El Moezz Street before heading back to my hotel. Ahmed was very perceptive and listened to e erything I said, making sure I got to see all the things I was interested in and more. I can not recommend both Ahmed Tonsi and this tour enough.

Old Cairo shopping Tour - Great visit to old Cairo. Get ready to haggle. Our guide was knowledgeable about the old buildings and architecture and asked us what articles we were interested in purchasing. Visiting the market was an experience not to be missed. We ended the visit enjoying mint tea and ambiance at El Fishawy

The guide did not... - The guide did not prpovide a memorable experience. I booked the trip for one and the operator called and asked if I could push the time back. I told her that I could not as I was flying out that evening. She asked how many were in my party; I told her that I was alone but I had a friend who had booked alone for the same time. She asked if we could do it together. We agreed, however though we paid separately (cheaper to pay as two) we paid for drinks at the meal(this was not mentioned as being at cost to the guest).

Not Worth It! - I booked this tour after reading the reviews and was excited to do some shopping. Unfortunately, the guide we had was different from the guides mentioned so highly in the other reviews. Our guide, Lydia, was not personable at all. She did not talk much and, honestly, was not that helpful. Based on the description, I thought the tour would visit multiple local markets, but we just went to the Khan el-Khalili bazaar. However, we were told the other areas listed in the description are just the streets adjacent to the Khan el-Khalili bazaar, and they are closed on Sundays (so be mindful of the day you choose to go shopping).
