Ideal Cairo Experience - Throughout my visit, I was guided by Nour and driven by Desokey. Both were incredibly hospitable and knowledgable about Egyptian history and culture and treated me to traditional meals, snacks, and experiences. Nour was clearly an expert on all of the landmarks we visited, giving detailed explanations on each location's past and identity, also taking great pictures along the way. Desokey was the best driver one could ask for, navigating the hectic Egyptian traffic with ease and explaining landmarks we would drive by as well. Overall a very enjoyable experience and I highly recommend for anyone with an extended layover in this beautiful city.

Tour para conocer las pirámides y el antiguo Cairo - An excellent option to learn about the history of Egypt, including the most notable pyramids in Cairo and the Egyptian Museum. The attention of our guide Sherif and our driver Hassan was incredible, they know the history and culture of the city perfectly and are very friendly, in addition, the restaurants we went to and the Nile cruise met our expectations. I highly recommend this tour, congratulations!

Spectacular Time in Egypt with Sun Pyramids! - We did a Private VIP Tour with another Couple for two days in Cairo and then went for the one day Flight to Luxor all day. During the VIP Tour we had a Primary Guide that met us at the airport and then two other Historical Guides for the Historical visits in Cairo and the Historical Visits in Luxor i.e. Valley of the Kings, etc. I provided two other five star reviews for the Historical in depth tours. What was wonderful about the whole VIP Tour was that we also had Moustafa (spelling?)--our Lead Coordinator that met us at the airport and took us out in the evening on Nile River Cruise and other Dinners in the Evening and Ahkmed (spelling)--the Driver that was a consistent presence during our time in Cairo driving us around. Mustafa was always available and checked in with us while we were there to see if we needed anything or wanted extra activities when we were at the hotel. He was super pleasant to be around and was there to drop us on our Luxor trip 4am in the morning also making sure we would be awake :-) and pick us up and had final goodbyes at airport... We also had a nice walk around Khan Al-Khalili one of the best markets in Egypt located in the historic centre of Cairo, Nile River Cruise and Dinner over looking the Giza Pyramids. A launchpad for the Egyptian experience. - Cario, with a city of a population of at least 25m, being dropped in downtown can be rather overwhelming. Although it is a very safe city both during day and night time, it’s easy to get lost in the many different areas. We had a wonderful time with our tour guide and driver (Siad and Ayman) , being launched immediately in a full Cario experience. We were lucky with the season, not being busy this year and had great access to all the big sights one wants to check off. The tour guide and the driver were knowledgeable as well as had a good sense of humour and had access to areas that you wouldn’t be able to get to without them. We were able to get extremely close to some of the great sights such as the pyramids and sphinx as well as getting an inside look in how people live in this city. The tour itself was flexible and the tour guides adjusted the itinerary based on the traffic and unexpected events such as the light show being cancelled. We had a really good time overall and laughed a lot. The food was great and everything was well. One thing that some people may be put off by is that the tour involves going to shops and places that expect you to buy something but it is completely up to you. It is important for the guides to give back to the Egyptian people. They were also very thoughtful and helped us plan the rest of our trip by giving suggestions. The finish the review, see this tour as more of an introduction to Egypt and check off the big ones before continuing your travel down south; don’t expect detailed archeological insights but more of a launchpad into the Egyptian experience!

Good driver and best guide Ahmed - I wish only Ahmed was our guide for 2 days trip. Driver was no nice person as well. We missed him a lot for 2nd day trip. However, bad thing was that too many shopping course for guide incentive. 1 or 2 is fine for 2 days but 5 shopping area was so meaningless and waste time. I give you 3 stars for Ahmed and driver.

Review of the Tour - Nice tour guides, they explain the history of the monuments and also the tradicions of egypcian people. If anything we need they try help us. However, we didin´t like to visit some shops, because, they were creating the need to buy something. Also in egypcian culture given tips is something almost obrigatory even if you pay the service. which it is common in our culture. Overall, we recommend this tour.

Explore Egypt will give what the want and not what the customer requested and paid for! - This was a once in a lifetime opportunity to go see the pyramids for me, my wife, father in-law, and mother in-law. We requested a Spanish guide for both days because my parents do not speak English. The guide for day 1 and day 2 did not speak spanish, and they didn't even try to find one in Spanish. I was not communicated of this issues at all, other wise I would have canceled and hire someone else. But out time in Cairo Egypt was limited so we had to settle for English speaking guides. On DAY 2 the Pyramid Sound and Light Show was on the schedule but the guide didn't take us and told us it was closed. I contacted Mena, the operations manager, and he ignored my text messages and refused to solve the problem. The next day I had to purchase the tickets to the pyramids Sound and Light Show for me and my family at my expense. This was a major attraction that was part of the 2 day package and Explore Egypt did not delievered.

Poor Customer Service - We booked this 2 day trip based on the various 5 star reviews on the Let's Explore tour on TripAdvisor. But I would urge you to look at the average to poor reviews before you commit a tour with them and part with your valuable money and time. This in no way reflects on the ability of our guide (Ahmed) who was extremely knowledgeable about the Egyption history and our driver (Mohammed). They were both execellent. My comments are aimed at the general manager Mena who got in touch the day before the tour but refused to reply to my messages or return phone calls when I reached out to him after the tour because of organisational issues we encountered on the tour. It is obvious that Let's Explore is not concerned about customer satisfaction as the mark of any good company would be to wnat to understand the issue, acknowledge a problem and eventually learn from their mistakes. Both my wife and I are vegetarian and we let Let's Explore knew at the time of booking. On Day 1 the restaurant was satisfactory. However, on day 2 lunch was organised near Giza while most of our sightseeing was in ancient and old Cairo and a visit to 2 museums - NECM and Egytian Museum. The itinerary organised by Let's Explore would have meant that we would end up for lunch well after 4pm as they wanted to take us there af the end of a full day tour! The company could have planned it better. We complained to our guide that this was unreasonable and after discussion with Let's Explore we were taken to a fast food joint called Kazaz (not a sit down restaurant) near the Egyptian Museum which had a limited veg choice (see photos). In the end we insisited that we get taken to Hilton (behind the Egyptian Museum) and that we would pay for our lunch rather than eat at Kazaz (which Let's Explore did refund us in the end). However we ended up wasting almost 1 hour which meant rushing through the Egyptian Museum which closed at 5pm. We coud have done with one more hour as there was lots to see. Feel diappointed as we missed the opportunity - we do not know when we will be back in Cairo.

Rip off - So we booked a 2 day Cairo tour with 3rd day visit to Alexandria. We never got picked up for on 3rd day and contacted the tour company Viator and they refused to compensate us. I would not recommend anyone use this company. It really spoiled our overall experience of Egypt.
