At 7:00 am, your private tour guide and driver will collect you from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and accompany you south to begin your day tour. The first stop is the Red Pyramid and Bent Pyramid at Dahshur, a renowned royal necropolis in Egypt that houses many famous pyramids, including those of King Snefru. This site is located approximately 40 km from Cairo. Next, visit the Step Pyramid of Zoser, the world’s oldest significant stone structure, constructed in the 3rd Dynasty (around 2630 BC) for King Djoser. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant before proceeding to explore the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus. The tour continues with a visit to the Great Sphinx, featuring the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, dating back to the era of Chephren. The itinerary also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, associated with the Pyramids of Chephren. Finally, you will be transported back to your hotel in Cairo or Giza.
