We’re setting out today to discover a spiritual hub in Egypt - ancient Cairo, also known as the Coptic city. Our journey begins with the remains of the Roman fortress of Babylon, dating back to the 1st century AD. Afterwards, we tread our way towards the Hanging church, perched atop the tower of the Babylon fortress. Our next stop involves a tunnel-led route to the Cavern church, Abu Serga, originating from the 5th century AD, where we’ll discover the cave that sheltered the holy family for over three months. Interactive discussions about the specific foundation of the Ben Ezra synagogue by Jewish will follow. The tour concludes with a delicious lunch, post which we’ll provide a drop-off service to your hotel.
