Cairo and Pyramids - We had an incredible time in Cairo and at the pyramids, and that was largely due to our excellent guide Markus and our excellent driver Ahmed.
Mark is a true expert; his knowledge of the history and culture of Egypt is impressive, and he masterfully knew how to introduce us to the wonders of the pyramids and Cairo. He was always attentive, friendly and had an answer for every question.
Ahmed navigated us safely and efficiently through Cairo traffic. We felt absolutely safe and comfortable at all times. He was always on time.
Together, Markus and Ahmed are a perfect team who made our trip a highlight of our holiday. Thank you for this unforgettable experience! We would definitely book them again.

A great excursion with a great guide. It had all been so great and impressive for us. Unforgettable moments! - The booked excursion had been a dream. Everything worked great. The pyramids, the Egyptian Museum, lunch and the typical Egyptian Bazaar. Our guide Markus was perfect. He told us a lot of historical stuff. He had been super nice and funny. And has mastered the German language very well. It had been an unforgettable day with great impressions. We were moved to tears. Thanks again for this great day!

Amazing Cairo Experience – Everything Was Perfect ! - I went on the excursion to Cairo with Zakharious Tours, together with my daughters. We departed from Sahl Hasheesh in a private bus, which made the long journey – starting at 1 a.m. – much more comfortable and enjoyable.
It was a long ride, but absolutely worth it. When we arrived, we were amazed by the beauty of the pyramids.
We were warmly welcomed and guided by Oda, our passionate Egyptian guide, who explained everything clearly and with great enthusiasm.
We also had an excellent lunch where we were received with kindness and care – a beautiful moment of local hospitality.
The drivers were also amazing: professional, friendly, and attentive.
In short, everything was perfect! I highly recommend Zakharious Tours to anyone wishing to discover Egypt in the best possible conditions – especially for families.

Excellent private tour from Hurghada to Cairo – highly recommended! - We, a married couple in their mid-30s, had a great day with Zakharious Tours on our private trip to Cairo on June 18, 2025. Everything worked perfectly from start to finish. We were picked up from the hotel lobby on time in the morning and safely driven to the airport in Hurghada. In Cairo, our tour guide Markus warmly welcomed us in very good German, which made us immediately feel comfortable.
Markus is a very friendly, quiet and expert Egyptologist who took care of us lovingly all day. Already at the beginning in the air-conditioned van he explained that he was there for us and even surprised us by getting snacks and drinks at a kiosk. The driver navigated us safely and routinely through chaotic Cairo.
We particularly appreciated Markus’ approach: He asked us directly what was most important to us, and emphasized that we could make the day according to our wishes. This flexibility was the reason for us to book a private tour. We spent about three hours at the pyramids and another almost three hours at the new Egyptian Museum, where Mark took a lot of time to explain everything in detail.
The day was well organized, pleasantly relaxed and extremely enriching. After the trip, our private taxi was already waiting to take us safely back to the hotel. We couldn't have asked for a better day.

Dreamlike day trip to the pyramids and Cairo - After our trip to Luxor in September last year (with Nashaat, thank you again for this) it was clear that this time we will go to the pyramids and Cairo.
We were not disappointed!
Perfectly organized day trip from hotel pick-up at 4.20am), flight to Cairo, over the whole program, to safe return home to the hotel (10.40pm).
With the safe drivers in Hurghada and Cairo as well as our guide Marcus it was perfect. Marcus is such a warm person, funny and has an extremely profound knowledge of the history of Egypt, which he conveys in a casual way. With his perfect German a real treat and he caters to all wishes. Thank you for the unforgettable day.
Pyramids, lunch, ancient Egyptian National Museum boat tour on the Nile (extra charge, but highly recommended), bazaar and old town.
Absolutely recommended and worth the money!

Cairo and pyramids perfect - Perfect tour with Zakharius Tours. Cairo and pyramids is possible from Hurghada if you accept just under 1000 km in 9 hours from 3am to 30pm. Driver Carlos chauffeured us quickly and safely. Guide Markus convinced from the Egyptian Museum to the pyramids with great knowledge in the best German and also had the latest findings ready. Lunch typical of the country in a tourist restaurant was more than sufficient. Water 1 euro, juices 3 euro. A certainly exhausting trip, but well organized.

We can absolutely recommend the tour. - The organization and communication of Zakharias Tours was professional and the hotel pickup very punctual.
It was a great way to get to know Cairo compactly, safely and at the same time very personally – and we are glad that we decided exactly for this tour.
Our guide Marcus and his driver took us safely (and flexibly) through the bustling Cairo. Marcus could explain everything very understandably, has brought us closer to historical background and was always open to questions.
The first stop was the pyramids – a truly unique experience that we will never forget. Marcus explained a lot to us here and made sure we took the best route and had enough time for photos and impressions.
Afterwards we had a very delicious lunch in a local restaurant – authentic and really good, sometimes something completely different from the hotel dinner.
After that, the Egyptian Museum was on the agenda. The exhibition there was very interesting – many impressive original finds and exciting explanations from Marcus made this part of the tour special for us.
Finally, we continued with a city tour to the old town. There we visited the bazaar and also had time to stroll through the narrow streets for ourselves – a nice, vivid contrast to the rest of the program.
An all-round successful day – well organized, informative and with enough freedom. Highly recommended!
