Cairo to Aswan

Cairo - At approximately 6:30 pm, depending on your hotel’s location, you will be picked up from your hotel in Cairo or Giza and taken to the Cairo train station to board the overnight sleeper train to Aswan, which includes bed and dinner.

Aswan High Dam - Upon arrival at the Aswan train station, an Egyptology tour guide will greet you to begin an exciting day tour in Aswan.

Start your tour by visiting the High Dam, completed in 1960 to protect Egypt from flooding and to generate electricity.

Temple of Philae - Continue your journey by visiting the Graeco-Roman Temple dedicated to the goddess Isis, accessible by a small motorboat.

Aswan - After the tour, check in to the cruise at lunchtime. Relax and refresh.

In the evening, enjoy a disco party organized by the cruise staff.

Abu Simbel, Kom Ombo Temples & Enjoy Sailing

Abu Simbel Temple Complex - Around 4:30 am, your guide will pick you up for a trip to Abu Simbel.

Visit one of Egypt’s most remarkable sites: the rock-cut temples of Abu Simbel, uniquely designed for King Ramesses II and his beloved Queen Nefertari.

Return to the cruise by noon for lunch and sail towards Kom Ombo city.

Enjoy Egyptian tea on the cruise sun deck while sailing.

Kom Ombo - Arrive in Kom Ombo city to visit the dual temple of Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon god.

Return to the cruise for a delicious dinner.

Continue sailing to Edfu. Overnight on the cruise.

Edfu Temple & Enjoy Sailing

Temple of Horus - After breakfast, take a horse carriage ride with your tour guide to visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu, considered the most complete and best-preserved of all Egyptian temples.

Return to the cruise.

Luxor Temple - In the evening, arrive at your cruise dock and be transferred to enjoy Luxor Temple on the East Bank of Luxor under the lights, where ancient Egyptian, Christian, and Islamic features are displayed.

Valley of the Kings - After breakfast and check-out, start your unforgettable day by driving to the West Bank.
