Head to Saqqara to explore the Step Pyramid of King Zoser and its complex. The Step Pyramid, constructed for King Zoser, the founder of the Third Dynasty (circa 2700 B.C.), was designed by Imhotep, the first architect in recorded history, and is the oldest stone structure in existence.

Next, visit the exquisite tomb of Kagemni (circa 200 B.C.) and marvel at the impressive Pyramid Texts inside the pyramid of Teti. Proceed to Memphis, the first capital of ancient Egypt (circa 3200 B.C.), to view its ruins and visit the museum, which houses the colossal statue of King Ramses II and the enormous alabaster sphinx.

Continue to Dahshur to see the Bent Pyramid (the initial attempt at constructing a true pyramid) and the Red Pyramid (the first true pyramid in history), both built by King Snefru, the founder of the Fourth Dynasty and father of King Cheops (circa 2600 B.C.). You will have the opportunity to enter the Red Pyramid.

Enjoy lunch at a high-quality restaurant with views of the Sphinx and the pyramids. Finally, head to the Giza plateau to witness the Great Pyramid of King Cheops (circa 2500 B.C.), the pyramid of Chephren, and the pyramid of Mycerinus. Ascend the plateau to the panorama for stunning photographs. Your adventure continues with a 30-minute camel ride around the pyramids, followed by a visit to the Valley Temple and the Sphinx, before being transported back to your hotel.
