Exhausting yet enjoyable - We left sharm at 12 on the night took 8 hours in the morning Cairo museum tour after a $15 extra-paid tour of the nil river then lunch included on the nil river boat, then papyrus shop (don't take too expensive) after a tour of the pyramids, sphenks after perfume shop (don't take too expensive) then the next night at 02:30 we were sharmed again. It was a long but enjoyable journey. Don’t give your phone to those looking to take photos in the pyramids They want money forced They don’t like the money you give them.

Awesome experience - Whilst the journey by bus was long it was all so worthwhile because the views of the countryside and Cairo were a great experience. In addition, the Pyramids, Sphinx and Museum were awe inspiring. The your operator/ guides were 1st class, always informative and willing to answer the many questions that we had. A truly wonderful 24 hours 💯

Well worth the visit but be prepared to be rushed about! - The journey to Cairo from Sharm, by bus, is about 8/9 hours so be prepared. We were picked up at about 12.15am at our hotel on Friday morning.
The museum was our first stop and was amazing, full of fantastic artefacts and the King Tut room was awe inspiring and emotional. Photographs and videos are not allowed in the room but lots of people ignored this!
Our next stop was a short boat trip (optional) along the Nile to a floating restaurant. The food was very nice and there was plenty of it.
We then visited a 'fragrant oil' manufacturer where various essential oils were available to buy - they were quite expensive and I'm not sure if anyone actually bought any.
We then went to the Pyramids which was amazing although there wasn't enough time to go inside. We took the optional trip on a horse drawn 'chariot'. The driver was insistent that we gave him $10 each as a tip which I refused - our guide suggested giving him max $2 - with much arguing he 'accepted' $5!
Next we went on a short drive to see the sphinx which was spectacular, guarding the pyramids and a great photo opportunity.
Our final stop was at a papyrus shop where they explained the history and showed visitors how they are made. Many people bought the personalised ones to take home.
There was a comfort stop of about half an hour on the way back to Sharm and we finally got back to our hotel at about 1am on Saturday.
We really enjoyed the day and it was well worth the long journey there and back. Just be prepared to be rushed at each of the stops - there is not enough time to fully appreciate everything you see - think of it as a Cairo taster

Tours in Cairo - Experience that is absolutely worth it, a little 'heavy the trip and confusing at the beginning because they do not explain anything, but once you get to the beginning is repaid by the presence of the guide in Italian who explains everything, even if a little' hasty.

Exception in the trip - The trip was fine, but unfortunately, we had to pay an additional $10 per person for a boat ride that wasn’t originally included in the plan. This should have been part of the package, otherwise, it feels misleading. Additionally, the journey to Cairo took 11 hours one way, which I believe should be mentioned in the description. It would also be helpful to have explanations at each stop, as many people were left wondering why we were stopping and when we would continue. Overall we have spent just 4 hours for exploring historical artı facts. Other 22 hours were spent for the way.

The company lost our passports - Was picked up by the minibus at the hotel 20 minutes after the agreed time. The driver should have our passports before the trip. We delivered them and went with the minibus. We were released on a large bus that was completely full, unorganized and too small for all people. Several of the passengers started arguing with each other on the background of the chaos.
My husband got sick, and we had to get off the bus. We asked for our passports back, but no one knew where they were.
We were so promised that even if the bus was running, a man would be left with us to find our passports. After 20 minutes this man disappeared, the bus had gone on, and we were left sitting again at a gas station without a passport.
After a chaotic three-hour period, a guy showed up with our passports. He could not answer where they had been, who had them or why it took so long to track them up. Very dissatisfied.

SCAM - Your guides will team up with shady shops to get you to spend money on fake oils and spices. We used so much money in the shop, because our GUIDE booked through Viator, told us it was a legit place. Apparently he was in on hustling us for our money, which is so uncomfortable. We were with these guides for 24hrs in total, can you imagine how we feel now coming home and finding out, that it was all a huge scam and we fell for it? Given the fact that we had a “licensed egyptologist” as our guide for the day. WE EVEN GAVE HIM TIPS AFTERWARDS. We are supposed to be able to trust our guides. We found out when we got home and put our “spices” in water - full of dye, chemicals and I am not even sure they are edible. Our oils are the fakest ever and NOT what they showed us in the shop. Is this how to treat the tourists on which your country’s economy lie upon? We are not recommendint this trip at all, and frankly, I don’t trust Viator anymore either!
It was an awful experience and we feel so violated.
