Cairo food tour - Food Tour was interesting and we enjoyed our tour with our guide Beshoy who showed us local Cairo and try local oriental food .we walk in Cairo and saw all street and local life , we sit in code shop and drink Egyptian tea with mint , my friend even tried to smoke shesha , was fun , we tried 4 toys of local food , we were just as impactful as food itself

Great backroad food tour of Giza - Moaz showed us the back roads of Giza on our food tour. We felt safe and looked after and met some wonderful and friendly locals as we shared in traditional Egyptian food. We had a fabulous evening.

Cool tour in Cairo/Giza - Moaz was a fun guy to chat with! Incredibly kind guy, we enjoyed our 3 hours with him. He also expertly handled the madness that is driving in Egypt. We enjoyed each of the stops on the tour. Food wise, Koshary was an unexpected surprise. Very tasty combo of ingredients that you wouldn’t expect to be Egyptian staples. Chicken Schwarma was way more involved than what we eat in the states (as you can guess, way more in it here). We enjoyed seeing the streets of Giza/Cairo too. The Papyrus store stop was actually quite interesting and we liked it. They ask you directly if you want to buy something. We were told going in it was not a pressured sales pitch. That was accurate. They ask, politely say no thank you if you don’t want to buy. Very easy and not awkward at all. They get it. I think food tours end up being funnest way to see a slice of life in a foreign city. This was no exception. Total chaos on the streets, having a local resident to navigate makes it doable. We walked his street and saw his bread shop, meat store, grain/pasta place, etc. But be warned, it’s like any ancient city (Rome, etc) street. It is equal parts for driving, parking, walking, sitting in a chair, total chaos. Seemingly no rules. Book this tour, it’s a fun way to see the city and eat the real Egyptian cuisine.

Fantastic Cairo Food Tour. - A fantastic tour with Eslam to many local cafes and eateries to enjoy real Egyptian quisine. We saw so much of Cairo and were also taken to out of the way vendors including Egyptian Cotton, authentic papyrus factory, aromatherapy shop and a fabulous jewellery shop. All in all, a great trip. Highly recommend it and ask for Eslam!

Food tour - Moaz Ashraf is really nice. He showed us around his neighborhood and where he grew up. He even bought us desserts which he didn't have to. Really appreciate his time around and thank you.

A wonderful introduction to Cairo with an excellent guide, Eslam. - Eslam was out tour guide for the Cairo Food Tour, and he did a great job—explaining the history of the food he provided as well as the complicated rules surrounding traffic, horn honking, and pedestrians crossing the street. We went to Ild Cairo and back to New Cairo trying several different types of Egyptian food, and at one point we sat in a cafe on a roadside table and watched the bustling traffic and passersby. It was a wonderful introduction to the city, and Eslam did a great job.

A Local Food Tour in Cairo - We started our day with a food tour (found on Viator) led by Ahmed. The whole experience was terrific! Pickup at our hotel was smooth and on time. Our guide’s vehicle was clean and comfortable and he was both knowledgeable and friendly (and a great driver in the chaos that is Cairo traffic). We ate three really delicious meals - nothing fancy or touristy - just ordinary food that people here like - so good! Between meals we visited a few shops including one specializing in tea snd spices that was fascinating. The food plus the pyramids in the background and the calls to Friday prayers really set the scene. Highly recommend!

Great way to see/experience the city! - Very enjoyable trip! Karam was excellent and very knowledgeable about the food, culture, and city. Would recommend as a fun way to explore Cairo!
