Sailing to Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples

Temple of Kom Ombo - Enjoy breakfast on board as the Dahabiya begins sailing toward Kom Ombo. Accompanied by your Egyptologist guide, disembark to visit the Temple of Kom Ombo, dramatically situated on the Nile’s edge. This unique temple is dedicated to two deities—Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus the Elder—and features symmetrical twin sanctuaries.

Edfu - Afterward, return to the Dahabiya to continue sailing. Have lunch on the sun deck as you observe traditional river life unfold along the fertile banks—scenes unchanged for centuries.

Temple of Horus - In the afternoon, you’ll stop in Edfu. Luxor - Wake up to breakfast as the Dahabiya arrives in the enchanting city of Luxor. Disembark to begin your journey through the West Bank of Thebes, home to some of the most significant burial sites and temples of ancient Egypt.

Valley of the Kings - Start with a visit to the Valley of the Kings, where pharaohs from the New Kingdom were laid to rest in elaborately decorated tombs.

Temple of Hatshepsut at Deir el Bahari - Continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural masterpiece built into limestone cliffs at Deir el-Bahari. Admire its unique colonnaded design, which honors one of Egypt’s most powerful queens.

Colossi of Memnon - Before returning, pause at the Colossi of Memnon, two massive seated statues of King Amenhotep III that have stood guard for over 3,000 years.

Luxor - After your excursion, return to the cruise for lunch. The afternoon is yours to relax on board or explore at your own pace. Enjoy dinner on the Dahabiya and spend the night in Luxor.
