Wow, superb value, friendly, kind helpful and professional - We were on a cruise and wanted a private tour from Port said to Cairo, Giza then Alexandria. All the reviews were excellent for Sun Pyramids and so we booked. The cruise line were pushing their tours and saying for safety reasons. Complete rubbish. Theirs were overpriced and terrible people all said they were horrible.
Ours was magnificent, luxurious, professional, friendly, helpful, kind nothing was a problem. Our guides Fatima day one and her husband Osama on day two (due to a medical emergency with her father) were superb, both degree qualified archiologists and with two of their four kids studying archaeology its in their DNA. Request either of them as your guide.
Rana handled the bookings perfectly. We were amazed on check in at our hotel to find Sun Valley had booked and paid for a junior suite facing the pyramids.
We wanted to see the new GEM museum. Not fully open but partially open. Wow it was superb.
We felt at all times safe and superbly looked after. Even wandering around the cities on foot we never once felt unsafe, everyone we met was kind friendly and very proud of their country and history.
Don't hesitate to book you will not regret it! Special tip at the lunch try the Tahini dip!

Recommended - Sharif in Cairo TOP Guide - We went with SunPyramids two days in Cairo/Giza and two days in Luxor, always with private Spanish-speaking Guide and private minibus for us 3.
Cairo/Giza: Excellent and brilliant Guide, Sharif, highly recommended, the best and most loving Guide we could imagine. Always attentive to us, great sense of humor, explaining everything not only about monuments or visits but interesting things about the city, everyday life, customs etc. So, the two days with him was TOP, a 10!!
After two days in Luxor with another Guide, Achmed, a young boy, friendly and funny but as Guide far away from Sharif. He explained, yes, but he was always in a hurry. Anyway, very different to the Cairo experience although we loved Luxor, the Valley of the Kings and the super interesting Tombs, Karnak etc and the location of Luxor and this green area on the banks of the Nile we really liked. We were in a Hotel (organized on our own) called Jolie Ville Kings Island and spectacular (see review in Jolie Ville Luxor)
Preparations and communication with SunPyramids was smooth with Riham with very good attention. The cheap price is not, but we understand that since everything was private this has a price.

An unforgettable tour of Giza and Cairo - Fantastic tour of Giza and Cairo with the amazing guide Mohamed Alfayed and skilled driver Absalam. Super friendly, informative, flexible. Highlights were the koshary lunch at the super famous across the Middle East Abu Tarek restaurant and the stroll inside Khan Kalili market with a stop over at the oldest cafe of Islamic Cairo El Fishawy, full of character and friendly vibes. The hotel was right in front of the Pyramids of Giza, with a prime view of the Sounds and Lights show at night and a breakfast on the terrace with view over the pyramids in the morning. Highly recommended.

Amazing tour and overall experience - This was such an amazing trip! Mahmoud Emam was our tour guide. He was extremely knowledgeable and protected us from the typical hassles that most tourists will face in Cairo. Having a private tour is definitely the way to go as we were picked up directly from the airport, taken to our hotel, and then moved along the various tours at our own pace. Mahmoud even took many pictures for us and advised us on where the better places were to buy authentic souvenirs and places to stay away from. This tour was worth every penny and after looking around during our time here, I don’t think we would have had the same experience if we went with another company.

Just meshmirising - Really memorable private tour....enjoyed .. Yassar,s knowledge and dedication to his craft made our 2 day private tour memorable. If you are tight with time and want to get everywhere hassle free ..while learn the best of history ..Yassar is the man ..very professional and passionate about Egyptian culture , history and heritage...and driver Abdir (sorry..might have miss spelled) was wonderful and always smiling..

Cairo and Alexandria - It has been awesome! We spent a day in Cairo and another in Alexandria with our guide Ahmed. Totally recommend him, he takes really good pictures and is a wonderful guide. Hope we come back.

Good experience, guide very knowledgeable - We had 3 days travel in Egypt, visiting pyramids, sfinge and museum. It was well organised, the guide Mohamed Mekawy is supportive and very knowledgeable. They are always on time, provide all type of information and give tips about what’s relevant to visit.
We were travelling with kids, so it’s more difficult to get the motivated and interested, probably the information shared could be a bit more dedicated to them (for example at the museum it was difficult to get them waiting to see the most appealing part for them - the mummies were at the end of the path while it could be done at the very beginning as we asked). Overall the tour is very well organised, they are supportive and kind of flexible. Lunches were included and organised in nice place. It’s a pity there is no way to choose the menu - so you have exactly the same lunch for 2 days.
The agency organised also our stay at the hotel, the Sofitel. Everything was as agreed - so I would suggest the agency to have an holiday there. Maybe asking a bit more flexible for example for lunches or how to organise the day as it was a private tour.
