MUST do experience while in Cairns!!!! - Absolutely AMAZING and fun tour while staying in Cairns on our honeymoon!!! Chris B. was the perfect tour guide - he was a wealth of information about the history of the area, the food, and answered any and all questions we could think of. A wonderful person to spend the day with. The food was divine, and we loved being able to support small and local businesses. We saw platypus as advertised on the tour, as well as many more historical spots in the Atherton Tablelands area. You are seamlessly picked up right at your hotel, and the van you travel in is spacious and clean. We could not speak more highly of this experience, it is a must do during your time in Tropical North Queensland Australia!

Fabulous - Brett was amazing start to end. Picked us up on time, small group 👌 Started with an amazing breakfast & continued throughout the day. We absolutely adored our stop in Yungaburra & bought some fabulous food & unusual chopping board. Next we went to Platypus Park for lunch, we saw several Platypus which even surprised Brett. Then several more stops & ended the day with some gorgeous Ice Cream Wonderful tour so pleased we went Thanks again Brett

Super trip up the Tablelands - Picked up from our hotel (Casino) and we instantly knew the trip was going to be entertaining. Brett was full of knowledge about the towns and the entire trip kept all 12 of us involved. Highly recommend this trip you won’t be disappointed.

Best food and wine tour from Cairns - This tour was an amazing experience. We were picked up at our hotel by our driver and tour guide Chris, and taken to our first stop of the day, breakfast at Gillies, about an hour from Cairns. One of the things that we liked about the tour was that distances between stops were short, and there were rest stops at every one. Chris is a great driver and guide, and his commentary was very informative, and he didn’t try to hurry us at each stop. Each stop was timed pretty well, except that Gilliie’s was not ready for us, although there was a reserved sign on our table for 9:15, and we arrived before that. The food was very good though. The rest of the tour went off without a hitch, and we loved all of the tasting samples. Lunch was very good. Really enjoyed the kangaroo skewers and prawns. The platypus were a no-show, but you can’t expect wild creatures to show up on demand. The gin at the distillery was very good. Large selection, including a liquor made from blue agave, which resembled tequila, but they can’t call it that because that is a Mexican product. We finished up with ice cream, and got back to our hotel on time. I’ve taken many other food and wine tours in Australia, and this is one of the best. Highly recommended

What a magic day - What a fantastic day. Can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It was a wonderful day. Beautifully paced, did not feel rushed whatsoever at any time. Chris is warm and friendly and genuinely cares for his tour group members and does everything humanly possible to ensure everyone enjoys themselves on the tour. All included stops had very friendly staff. Servings were generous and definitely not skimped on. The day was magic. After doing many tours, this one stands out as one of the best. I’m fairly certain even if someone is a bit fussy and has high expectations they would be absolutely delighted with this tour.

Don’t hesitate to book this tour! - A great day out with tour guide Chris, who kept us entertained and shared lots of knowledge about the Tablelands, its agriculture, and food producers. All the food and drink was great as was the scenery. Chris managed our group efficiently but we never felt rushed. It was a very congenial group of fellow travelers too. Well done!

A truly fantastic dip into what the Atherton Tablelands has to offer. - We had a fabulous day out with our tour guide, Brett. He’s lots of fun, extremely knowledgeable and passionate about this stunning area of FNQ. Brett took us to seven places we’d never have had the same experience at, had we simply driven around the area ourselves. If you love meeting interesting people, sampling delicious food, buying high quality locally made products and produce, and supporting local artisans, then we can’t recommend this tour highly enough. Thanks Brett for a truly memorable experience! We can’t wait to come back and visit with you again. Cheers, Leanne and Dave (the not so accurate bend counter)
