Snorkelling was a great experience! - An amazing day snorkelling with a huge variety of fish and a turtle. Being a solo traveller I chose to swim where the beach had lifeguards. Trip over was rather rough but staff were helpful as the situation allowed. Hopefully can return one day soon

Well worth doing - Thoroughly enjoyed our day. The boat trip to the island was great and the staff very helpful. We enjoyed our time on the island. We did the walk. Can strongly recommend the crocodile and turtle feeding. We did return on the earlier boat as we re not really water people but we still had a great time

It was a great experience except paying for life jackets - It was a smooth activity and very friendly & polite crew explained all the details clearly. We enjoyed snorkeling in shallow waters. However there were no life guards when we needed some help. Glass bottom ride was great and got to see lots of fishes and there were also fish feeding which brought fishes close to boat. Water was hazy so could see corals but didn’t see much colors. The only reason I gave 4 starts is due to the fact that we had to pay for snorkeling gear, wet suit and even life jackets, which came to almost. I expect the tour company to provide snorkeling gear and life jacket at a minimum like other places.

Enjoy but be mindful that there will be rough seas...take a seasick remedy prior - I had a great time....but my hubby did not. He was very seasick I read the prior reviews and knew the 50 min boat ride to the island could be rough. I took a motion sickness pill. I was fine. A lot of people got sick on the way out...at least 30...the staff was busy with barf bags. They do provide ginger pills.... I enjoyed the glass bottom boat tour and I brought my own snorkel gear. There were no jellyfish when we went mid April. I did not wear a stinger suit only a rash guard. Also water was very calm at the beach. Staff was very helpful.

Ok but not great - Snorkelling but… the coral was below average. The cost to hire an umbrella was over the top. Will be recommending other locations to view the reef.

Not eco and falsely advertised - We booked this tour thinking that it was a “eco” guided tour, but it was far from being eco or sustainable as advertised. We were ferried over to green island with groups of tourists and left to our own devices. There was no guide or education on the Great Barrier Reef, the conservation aspects of it and best practice to explore it’s beauty. Instead we were confronted by employees with marine biologist written on their uniform haggling visitors to purchase diving tours on the boat ride to the island. Once arriving at the island you were left to explore on your own, no ‘tour’ as advertised. You would see people out in the water stepping and standing on the reef which was unbearable to watch because they were not informed and guided. In the package snorkeling gear was provided but not a life vest and you had to pay extra money to hire one. Of course the extra cost deterred people from hiring one which meant of course when people got tired from snorkelling they would stand or sit on the reef instead of floating with the vest to reduce physical contact to the reef. There are tours out there that do their part in educating visitors and raising awareness of the current environmental situation, we just selected the wrong one because of false advertising.

Wouldn’t recommend pay more for another tour - I didn’t like this tour at all. It’s one of the cheaper ones and I guess you pay for what you get. Very crowded and unorganised.
