Great tour in Cagliari and surroundings - I had a wonderful time in Cagliari and surroundings. Riccardo is a great guide. He has a good knowledge of the city. He is professional and very easy going. I would recommand him to see the best parts of Cagliari/Sardegna. I have done a city tour, beach tour and wine tasting. All very interesting and enjoyable. It was my first time in Sardegna but because of this experience it will definitely not be my last. I would highly recommand Riccardo. Michel

From door to door a total delight - We had two trips with Ricardo, and what made them so enjoyable was the fact that he picked us from our holiday apartment 4 miles out of Cagliari, Some tours insisted we found our way to locations in town that were not that easy to reach without a car. Ricardo is a very safe driver, and a patient man even when it comes to parking in the very busy town. He knew we wanted to see the Flamingos in the salt plains there, and on both occasions made stops so that we could get out and see them. We went first to the mountains to a bronze age village, only discovered in the 70s. The Unesco-protected site of Su Nuraxi in Barumini was a delight to visit. He took us to see the wild horses nearby but there was a terrific deluge of rain which meant we didn't see any, but that was not his fault. Ricardo also had umbrellas in his boot which enabled us to walk to the lake where wild horses can normally be seen. On the same visit we also visited a palace and museum of Bronze age artifacts, which has some Bronze Age walls below it. It was much nicer being in a small group, because visitors were being rushed around the site at Burumani, and we had time to pause and look at the site for longer. It is advisable to wear some sturdy shoes or trainers here because of the rocky terrain that you have to traverse. Ricardo had his Samsung tablet with him, and he showed us pictures of what the bronze age village looked like from the Internet. This made things easier to understand, as the inner walls were left but the outer wall had disappeared when they excavated the site. This trip is quite long but the vehicle that is used is very roomy and comfortable. The second trip we went on was round the town of Cagliari. This would not be possible on public transport there. We visited the meat and fish and fruit and vegetable market. We also went down by the canal to see on of the other large lakes that the flamingos use. We were able to view the town from several vantage points that we were taken to. There was a trip to the Cathedral and Crypt as well. We saw a building that had a Spanish and English canon ball lodged in its wall. Ricardo was very informative on all things Sardinia , and a delightfully patient man, who is proud of his country and people.. Each trip had a short break for coffee, and Ricardo hosted both of these, although we insisted on paying for the second one. Cafe prices in Sardinia are very cheap indeed. We had one small coffee and two cappuccinos, plus two cream doughnuts for 4 euro 50 cents. Thanks to Ricardo for making our holiday so memorable, and taking us to so many fascinating places. Great value for money as well

Nora in Sardinia - Nora is a very lovely Phoenician-Roman site with breathtaking views. We were lucky to have a fantastic guide, Fabio, who led us through the ancient city and told us everything about the history of the place. Even if you are not so fond of history, you have to visit Nora. It is really an amazing place and Fabio is the best ! Iris and Ina from Belgium, September 2017

Burumini - A fascinating trip with Ricardo who is a great guide. I would definitely book with him in future. It's a great day trip through lovely scenery out of the city. The stop offs to see wild horses and cork trees was great too and enjoyed by our children.

Wonderful tour of Cagliari from cruise visit - Riccardo was an excellent guide around Gagliari. He was very personable, efficient, professional and very knowledgable. So much better than the standard cruise operator's tours.

Trip from Cagliari to Barumini to Carbonia - My husband arranged for Riccardo to take us from Cagliari to Carbonia -- while stopping in Barumini to see the wild horses, cork trees, and volcanic rock, and the nuraghe. Riccardo was on time, friendly, and very knowledgeable about not only what we saw, but Sardinia as a whole. He also explained things to the level that our 5 and 7 year old daughters could understand. It was a lovely morning and afternoon spent learning more about the amazing sites of Sardinia, with a terrific tour guide. We highly recommend him! Mike and Katie

Wonderful tour of Cagliari - My husband and I have planned a week long tour of Sardinia. Having only a day or two in Cagliari we wanted to see and learn as much as we could about the city, it's architecture and it's rich history. Ricardo picked us up at our hotel and drove us to a look-out which provided a fabulous view of the city. We drove along the salt flats, stopped for a coffee at the beach and continued with a walking tour of the oldest part of the city, the Castello Quarter. He was interesting, knowledgeable and provided great information about Cagliari and even recommended places for us to visit as we tour the rest of Sardinia. Thank you, Ricardo!

Good shore excursion - Booked the panaromic drive and walking tour with Ricardo and were picked up at the port by Claudia who was our guide. She was extremely knowledgeable and showed us around the old city and the beaches. We had some free time at the main shopping square and were dropped back to the pier. A great way to discover the city in a short time.
