Staff was incredible. As... - Staff was incredible. As we had a few issues getting the hang of the rowing they were there to help us out and we always felt safe and confident. The flip side we barely saw the bioluminescent creatures. NO MOON

Fun experience! - We loved our experience on this tour! Thank you so much to our wonderful guides Natalia, Enrique, Javier, Yadier, and Catalina! They were great and so helpful. It was really hard to see the mangroves in the dark, so we were very thankful for the guides to help us to the lagoon.

Very kind tour guides! - Although the way back against the currents were hard, the guides stayed persistent and ready to assist us. Extra kudos for Enrique, his singing voice is awesome and he definitely helped cheer me up. Definitely our favorite part of our trip! — Evie

Beautifully unique experience...great for families! - Our party of inexperienced kayakers consisted of 2 parents and 2 teenage girls and we thoroughly enjoyed the Bio Bay tour! Our guides of Natalia, Enrique, Javier, Amaury and Catalina kept a close eye on us to make sure we were comfortable. The information shared on the phytoplankton was very interesting and we learned a lot. It is so beautiful and to know that Puerto Rico has 3 of the 5 bays in the world makes it a special activity. We were able to see a lot of the glow due to the complete darkness of the area. Pure Adventures was easy to communicate with before our tour to arrange transportation. We would absolutely use them again!

Spectacular sunset tour! - Amazing experience, excellent guides, beautiful scenery. I had heard from a friend who went on a similar kayak experience a few months ago (clearly with a different tour company) that it was super crowded and her tour guide was so far ahead they could not hear anything he said. We had the exact opposite experience. There was plenty of room in the canal for all the kayaks in our group and there was an ample number of guides to provide adequate support in front middle and back. When someone fell out of their kayak Natalya (one of the guides) was there within a few seconds to help them out. Natalya also gave us an amazing presentation on the stars that were shining that night. This was definitely one of the highlights of our wonderful trip to PR. Highly recommend it!

Book with them, you will not regret it!!! - Natalia, Javier,Enrique, Yadrul, and Catalina , thank you!!!! You were all so good at making this trip fun and making sure everyone felt safe. This was a true adventure for my 7 year old niece, as well as, me, her 62 year old aunt! We took the 8 pm tour so it was a dark paddle through the mangroves which was super cool even if we couldn't see the groves. At first i was kinda bummed we wouldn'tbe able to see the groves and was concerned my niece would be scared, but I was so glad we took the later tour. The darkness added a thrill for both of us. It wasn't overcrowded and was so much fun. The guides kept a good eye on us checking up with us along the way. Pure Adventure was good with communicating with us keeping us updated before the trip. They were very organized. Not a hard paddle. Again, thank you to all the guides I mentioned above for giving us an experience that will last a lifetime!!

Good time and a few tips - It was a fun tour overall, but here are some tips. 1. You will get wet just by paddling the kayak so be prepared. I would not wear anything nice. 2. It's dark, especially on the way back, and we took the 6 PM (probably actually left at 6:30) tour. 3. Don't try and pass other kayaks. Just listen to the guides...it's really not that hard but of course you have people doing it so be ready for them to bang into your kayak. That part is just annoying, but you won't tip. Once out in the bay, just have fun. They try explaining some of the constellations, but I ignored that and just have your hand or leg moving in the water to enjoy the lights, since that's what you are there for (Probably 20-25 minutes in the Bay). Enjoy!
