• What’s the advantage of a self-guided bike journey?
You’re in charge of your schedule, speed, and exploration path (operational hours: 9am - 7pm daily).
Access to the trail network begins right at our Rideau Canal starting point. You get to appreciate the scenic parks and water bodies without the hassle of dealing with roads or traffic. Explore notable spots such as Rideau Canal, Rideau Falls, Hog’s Back Falls, Arboretum, Central Farm, Rideau, Ottawa and Gatineau Rivers.
Our region is welcoming and supportive to tourists.
Pathways that are straightforward to navigate trace the 4 central aquatic territories.
We provide lightweight, comfortable Giant bikes in five sizes, with expert fitting. An electric assist feature upgrade is also optional.
Our custom directions and map come with a guarantee.

• Time span: maximum of 4 hours, covering 15km -25km.

Great Service, Great Bikes. Very convenient location. - Rentabike Ottawa provided an excellent, well tuned road bicycle for a long ride through Gatineau park. They were knowledgable and very helpful. They have a love of cycling which translated to excellent recommendations and tips on a great ride. I've rented with them before and will every time I come to Ottawa.

Quality, and good service - Ottawa, and its pathways. The quality of the bicycles, gravel bikes, was exceptional. The service and support Jill provided, were fabulous. However, I would have appreciated a lock for the bike.

Ebike rentals without a hitch - Excellent location to access all the bike trails. Rented ebikes and we picked them up and rode off in minutes. Took 4 hours and rode along the Rideau canal, stopping for lunch about the half way point. Highly recommend!

Great service Great bikes Great trails - Very conveniently located along the Rideau canal bike route. They were efficient and knowledgeable and had us on appropriate and well-maintained bikes-even let us try a tandem to see if it would work for us. When I had a puncture 6.5 km from the rental location they promptly dispatched a staff member on e-bike, who repaired the bike and I was able to finish my ride. As some one from out of town I was glad if they’re handy maps (downloadable). It is sometimes tricky to know how to transition from one trail to another, but once you are a on trail the riding is so good!!

Highly recommended - I had previously rented a bike for a guided tour. This time, I came with more relatives and we did the self-guided tour. The tour itself shows you how pretty Ottawa is, and personnel was as kind and as accommodating as the first time, so the experience was again very pleasant!

This Is The Right Place to Rent a Bike. No pun intended. - We used two eBikes. They were in excellent condition, the set up on arrival was quick and we were off in no time at all. They helped us map out our route which we modified as we reached various points. People on the trails were super helpful and friendly. This is a well located, well run, and quality provider with good service and excellent equipment. Definitely the ones to use.
