Great teachers and a lot of fun! - Great teachers, and we had a lot of fun. Knowledgeable, friendly and service-minded! Family of four all managed to stand up and surf basic surfing after only a few test-runs.

Super fun lesson, great waves/beach solo lesson - Did a private lesson as someone with light surfing experience and had a great time catching waves with my instructor. He was very friendly and helpful. They drove us to a spot ~30 mins from Byron and it was less crowded and had nice waves. I’m glad I did the private lesson because it allowed me to catch way more waves.

Great experience - We enjoyed a lot in our private lesson. We came with no experience and learned a lot! Also the beach we went to was very safe and appropriate for beginners.

Amazing private lesson - We stand on the board it was amazing ! Very friendly teacher and good teacher ! Magnifique ! Even if you are not so good at the begin, you will stand up thanks to their experience !

Best surf in Byron Bay - Book a private lesson with Terry as a bday gift for my brother. You have to try and learn with Terry, he was an absolute legend. Unique adventure - Was an adventure! I booked a two day surf lesson, but I recommend to just book the one day experience. Terry (owner) was really friendly and showed us all the techniques. At the end we all were able to stand up. I'm glad I did it with KoolKatz and not with one of the crowded big schools.

A very good experience with a grandson able to stand as promised by the end of the lesson - The beautiful weather ,lovely surroundings and the expert tuition. A very good location ideal for beginners and a super teacher

Very little teaching took... - Very little teaching took place, boards weren't in the best Conditioning. Left late and finished early.
