A magical moment in family - We passed an amazing time for our fist lesson of surf! I wanted if there is a French instructor and they answered me very quickly before i book the lesson! It was yes for the moment! She taked care of our daughter and gave her the basic mouvement to surf! It was a magical moment in family. Thank you so much!

Learnt to stand up for the first time! - Had a fantastic surf lesson with Beatrice and Jonnie - great instructors, knowledgeable, fun, patient and encouraging. Ticked off a bucket list item: managed to surf a few waves standing up!

Great experience with surf instructor Levi! - I just want to say a huge thank you to Levi, my surfing instructor, for an awesome, educational and friendly beginner surf lesson. Me and my girlfriend had never surfed properly before. Levi had us standing up and enjoying the waves within a few attempts. I really loved how caring and patient Levi was with my girlfriend, as she is not the most confident in the water. My lesson with Levi has really encouraged me to pursue further surfing lessons. A real shame that I am not staying in Byron Bay longer, as I would definitely have booked more days of lessons with Levi. I highly recommend Levi at Soul Surf School!

Awesome family beginners lesson with Levi - Awesome experience. We are very beginner surfers. We were lucky enough to get Levi as our instructor and he was awesome. So good with the kids (6yrs and 4 yrs), very safe and they loved him. He even taught them surf language…my eldest keeps saying sick wave dude and giving shakas to strangers he walks past on the street. The kids loved it and we all had an amazing experience. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Awesome experience, Levi is a great instructor! - Had an amazing time. The staff at check in were super helpful and professional! Our instructor, Levi, was an absolute legend and so good with our kids (4&6yrs old). Heaps of fun, very safe for families, & our eldest son is now convinced he’s going to be a better surfer than Kelly Slater. Both kids now say “sick wave dude”!

The BEST learn to surf lesson - My 8yr old daughter has been desperate to learn how to surf. She had a one on one with Benny 2 times during our trip and it’s all she talks about. She’s now so inspired to get her own board and keep going. What a truly great way to learn! I’d highly recommend the one on one lessons for anyone curious to learn. We will be back! Thanks team

Private Surfing Lesson - Levi was a great instructor. It was only our second time surfing and we were able to catch one wave after another. We spent a great afternoon on the waves.

Excellent instructor and perfect place! - I've tried a few surf lessons in different spots and none came close to being as good as this one. The instructor got me to the right spot and helped me catch several waves ... and the waves last long enough to enjoy the ride. I highly recommend it!

Amazing private lesson with Alex!! - We had the best time on our 2 hour private lesson with Alex today. We were only staying in Byron for a short time and had never surfed before, so we thought this would be the perfect introduction to surfing for us both and it absolutely was! Alex our instructor was absolutely super in every aspect. Really friendly and easy to talk to and explained everything so clearly from the get go! We were in the water and up on the boards in no time. We felt safe in the water all morning but still had a blast. We both left wishing we had more time in Byron to book additional lessons and would do this again in a heartbeat if we ever return! Thanks so much Alex for the best introduction to surfing for us both, you are a credit to the Soul Surf team🏄♀️

Excellent 2 hour private surf lesson - Lawrence took my daughter (7) and I our for a 2 hour private lesson, and it was a terrific experience. He was very good with kids, made all of his instructions really straightforward and easy to follow. He had both of us up and catching waves in no time. Would absolutely do this again if we are ever back in Byron Bay!
