We begin our journey at 11 AM, visiting 3 local breweries and a distillery, or a combination of 2 Breweries and 2 Distilleries.
A delicious, substantial lunch is also included, with options available for all dietary requirements.
At every brewery and distillery, we’ll be tasting a wide variety of Beers and Spirits on offer. With guided tastings at each location and 15-20 drinks over the course of the day (all included)
Not a fan of beer? Worry not, you can switch to cider, wine or seltzer

Great distillery (and brewery) tour - Fantastic tour.
Jarryd made everything so easy with the booking process, pick up and drop off at our accommodation made it stress free while Edward our driver was friendly and happy to accommodate our needs.
Our favourite place was Cape Byron Distillery - beautiful views, great story about how the farm and distillery came about and we all loved the gin (and whiskey)!

Get slightly tipsy while learning lots! - Jumped at the chance of a free babysitter (thanks mum!) and celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary by taking the full barrel tour. As a former local of the area, I was really keen to see a few of the notable distilleries and breweries that have popped up on the Far North Coast over the past decade. Jarryd was a great tour guide - personable, funny and very knowledgeable about the places we visited and the various drinks we imbibed (oh yes, there was a few!). Tastings at each location included a chat from one of the brewers, with lots of interesting facts about the history of the place and the drinks on offer. Jarryd kindly dropped us off at the front door and we needed a bit of a lie down and a kebab! Such a great day out! Would totally recommend!

Beautiful day out - highly recommend - I went on the all day tour with my partner and we thoroughly enjoyed the day. Jarryd was very informative and laid back - we loved the stories behind each venue we visited, the tastings were generous and delicious.
If you go on this tour I highly recommend getting the pina colada cocktail at the lord Byron rum distillery, it was as good as they said it is :)

Thankyou Behind the Barrel - 10 out of 10! All the places were amazing, the staff were perfectly attentive and the food, and mostly drinks were delicious. Jarrod was exceptionally amazing, super friendly and in general a legend!

So much fun!! - The Behind the Barrel Tour was an absolute blast! With a group of 20 friends, we had an incredible time exploring, learning, and tasting. Jarryd from Behind the Barrell Tours has everything sorted for you so just sit back relax & enjoy the day! Highly recommended for a fun, effortless and enjoyable day!

10/10 would recommend - Amazing breweries and distilleries, was something for everyone. Tailored paddles to our tastes. Staff at each place were super friendly and knowledgeable. Jarryd was a great guide, very knowledgeable also of all the different companies and owners, super friendly and chatty, went above and beyond to make sure we had a great day. A memorable experience for all of us. Thanks heaps Jarryd. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.
