Fabulous Afternoon Brewery/Distillery Tour - Had such a fun afternoon on the tour, our group of 11 joined a younger group of 6 overseas travellers, and we all had a ball. Jarryd was wonderful...answering any questions I had prior and on the tour itself, which all helped to make it a great afternoon. First stop on our tour was the Lord Byron Distillery...far exceeded our expectations, most of us considered ourselves anti rum drinkers, let's just say that the guys running the tour of the distillery and the tasting did a great job converting us, well worth a visit...a lovely tiki hut sort of vibe, and oh the pina colada's are delicious. Next stop was Stone & Wood Brewery, who were very accommodating for those who aren't beer drinkers, and also had some good options for food whilst there as well, and another great set up. And our last visit on the day was to the Cape Byron (Brookies) distillery. Beautiful location, Jarryd even spotted a koala in the tree near the entrance, and another great tasting experience (gin this time), with lots of options, including some great cocktails. Only "negative" feedback...Jarryd didn't play a song request of "Paradise by the Dashboard Light" on our return trip 🤣 but made up for it with some other great songs for the trip home. If you have an afternoon to spare, definitely put this on your list, you won't be disappointed! Thanks Jarryd for a fun afternoon.

Terrific tour - This our second tour with Behind the Barrel. Jarryd creates a comfortable laid back tour to great local breweries and distilleries.

Good fun!! - Lovely group of mixed ages. Chilled host Wes who created the vibe we all like. Nothing was rushed or too difficult for him. Really enjoyed the experience.

Amazing Tour Experience! - My husband and I came down to Byron for our honeymoon and decided to book a tour to learn more about the local brews and spirits and we are so glad we did! Our tour guide Jarryd was amazing, he taught us so much not only about the breweries/distilleries but Byron Bay/Australia. He is also an amazing photographer! We had the absolute best day and would recommend this tour to anyone that enjoys beer and spirits. We also got to see a baby Koala in the wild which was the absolute icing on the cake!
