Great adventure. Will return. - Excellent experience with Jose and Eli. There was a bit of rain at the beginning but it soon tapered off. Our favorite restaurant was Jellyfish and the surf and turf was excellent and very reasonable.

Amazing food and smooth travel - Great experience overall! The food was amazing and the restaurants were super picture perfect. Our guide Jose and the driver were really friendly and accommodating. They had refreshments, wifi, music, and air conditioning in the van and it was clean and spacious. I wish I had done this tour earlier in my trip because it was a great way to explore the area and see what else we could do. Jose even took the time to take pictures of us at each stop and made sure everything went well at each stop.

We enjoyed ourselves and would recommend! - My boyfriend and I wanted local DR cuisine after days of resort food. We made the reservation same day that morning for 6pm pickup. The guide texted us immediately after via WhatsApp confirming our location. They also notified us in advance they were running a few mins behind for pickup. The van was easily identifiable and our guide and driver Jose & Antonio were both very friendly. The van was large and air conditioned with a private transfer just for us included with a cooler stocked with rum, soft drinks, water, ice and cups. We were encouraged to enjoy as much as we wanted. You do have to pay for your food at each restaurant location, which we knew while booking so that wasn’t a problem. The first restaurant was about a 15 minute drive from our resort. The location was a beachside restaurant with a stunning view of the water where we sat outside at an upscale gazebo for appetizers. We ordered shrimp in red sauce and fried calamari; absolutely delicious! The cost plus two waters was $40. Second location for entrees was about 10 minutes away where we enjoyed plantain boats with shrimp, chicken empanadas, chicken fajitas with rice, beans and plantains. The cost plus two alcoholic drinks was about $60. Then we enjoyed a (few) sweet treats about 5 minutes away for about $15. We had the option to go out to a bar afterwards but we decided to get free shots back at the resort instead. We loved seeing authentic DR culture and enjoying truly delicious food. I will advise tourists have at least some basic understanding of the Spanish language because most locals understand only Spanish. We would book this tour again.

Great way to see punta cana - Had a wonderful time. Wish I hadn't gotten so full! The guides were very nice. Restaurants were delicious. Expect to spend 10-15 USD per a stop. However you could easily spend less.

Pay for your food - Prepare to pay for your food on this food tour. You will go restaurant to restaurant paying for food. Meals less than $20. There NO FREE SAMPLES. Did food tour in Colombia & all the samples was FREE. Disappointed with this “food tour “ . At least transportation went smooth!
