- We strongly suggest bringing with you sunscreen, natural/organic insect repellent, hat/cap, comfortable sport/walking shoes, sunglasses, camera, hand sanitizer, tissues/napkins, and a happy mind-set.
- Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is not permitted inside of sanctuary, there are designated areas at the ranch for smoking cigarettes.

What a fun experience! The butterflies were stunning! Fabian, our butterfly guide, was amazing! His knowledge of butterflies and ability to communicate this info made for a very interesting and educational visit. Learned a lot about butterfly life. Fabian and his team have put together the foundation for something that will be spectacular in the coming years. Overall the facilities are a bit rough. The transport to and from our hotel was a nice addition to the visit though the vehicle used definitely could use an upgrade. The butterfly sanctuary is not far from the Marina/Airport in Puerto Vallarta but it is tucked away on a dirt road and thru some neighborhoods.
A unique experience that I hope thrives in the future.
