Amazing kayaking experience in a magical location - We had a last-minute change of plans due to weather, and called Derek and Heather to see if they could fit us in. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating. We ended up doing a kayak tour from 6 to 8 PM. The timing was magical. The water was like glass. I highly recommend the vendor, the location, the experience, all of it!

Scenic kayak tour - Had a very pleasant morning kayaking with Derek as our guide. Saw several moose including a cow with 2 calves, lots of ducks and birds. Beautiful mountain and glacier views.

Really enjoyed this kayak experience - We were a group of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids) that had a wonderful time on this kayak tour. We took the 3:30 1/2 day tour and the weather and the views were just perfect. We particularly enjoyed the variation in waters that we went through from the initial lake to a fresh water river to a glacially fed river. Great introduction to kayaking for our crew. Thank you Paddle Sports by True North AK!

Wonderful kayak tour - Had a great time kayaking. Derreck was friendly, engaging, and attentive to us and knows a lot about the area. We saw a moose and enjoyed the calmness, while kayaking. Highly recommended.

Great Day - Found the guide to be knowledgeable and very safety conscious. Everything was provided for the trip and given plenty of instruction regarding the half-day paddle activity and instruction on appropriate dress. As a group, it was a fun day. Not being from Alaska, I got to see parts up-close I had only seen on the map. Great Day!

This tour company is a... - This tour company is a fraud. They had no waivers signed, no safety measures. Asked the infant to sit by herself for 4 hours or 5 people on the same kayak. It was a dirty creek and not a river where they were operating from. No tour office or no others people for the tour. It was the tour operator and his family at the place. Super dirty car pick up. Altogether a nightmare. So, we ended up not doing the tour and asked him to drop us back to the meeting point. It is a fake and fraudulent tour.
