An evening of medieval history, music, and food. - The atmosphere of the setting, combined with the interactions with the staff/cast made for a most enjoyable experience. The music, stories, songs, and food all added to the evening.

A unique experience fun for the whole family - This was such a blast for the whole family. The service and entertainment were both spectacular. The food was just fine but it didn’t take away from the experience as a whole. I had been told that a real Irish person wouldn’t go to this and that might be so but I didn’t regret it for a moment.

Disappointing, overpriced with terrible food - My husband and I wanted to treat our adult children and their partners to a fun night out together. What a huge disappointment this banquet turned out to be. We have both gone together many times in the past and always enjoyed the food and entertainment. This event has gone seriously downhill. Firstly the food was dreadful, my family will eat anything but after we left they all ordered pizzas as they couldn't eat the food given during the meal. The ribs were dry with a spoon of jar topping, the brown bread was still in the plastic wrapper, the only saving grace was the soup. Even the show seems to have been shortened. Overall after paying 80 euro each I was hughly upset at wasting our money at Bunratty. I can understand it's appeal to visitors as it is unusual and the castle is very interesting but for us that is where it stopped. We should have gone to a nice restaurant in town for a good meal and a few drinks which would have probably cost half the price. Please get your food and entertainment standards back to where they were.
