- Munduk - In the morning, the guide and driver will comfortably transport guests to the starting point of an enchanting two-hour trek around Munduk. This area is renowned for its fertile land, making it almost certain to encounter various clove, cacao, and coffee plantations and orchards. During the hike, participants will pass by natural wonders unique to the region, such as jungle waterfalls and breathtaking scenery. The guides here take great pride in living and working amidst abundant natural resources and can explain their significance in the daily lives of Bali’s northerners. Among the many local markets, the one in Singaraja is a favorite (translated as ‘Lion City’), the former Dutch capital of the island. This relaxed town was once a bustling hub of commerce and government, with boulevards and old colonial residences, remnants of which are still visible.
- Banjar Village Sungai Jingah - Another must-see site is the hot spring at Banjar Village, where guests can enjoy a dip before continuing. Nearby, the Brahma Vihara Arama, a charming little Buddhist temple, is worth visiting and offers great photo opportunities.
- Pura Beji - Before further exploring the region around Lovina, lunch will be served at a local restaurant. Temple complexes like the Beji Temple near the village of Sangsit stand out from the rest.
- Gitgit Waterfall - On the return journey to the hotel, a final stop at the magnificent Gitgit Waterfall is a bucket-list experience for anyone visiting Bali. Located in the jungle, it features a final drop of around 45 meters. This waterfall is very popular among both locals and international visitors and is another ‘must-see’ for anyone seeking hidden treasures surrounded by lush tropical vegetation. The day concludes as explorers return to their Munduk or Lovina hotel.
