Amazing Evening - We had an amazing evening of Tango with Andrea and it was a real highlight of our trip. The lesson was fun and Andrea was a lovely patient teacher. The visit to the beautiful Milonga was amazing and it was lovely to drink some red wine and chat about the culture of the tango in Buenos Aires. We were lucky to see a live orchestra too and a performance by some of the local dancers. Fantastic evening and would recommend to anyone.

Great evening, highly recommended - Great experience. Andrea is a very good and patient teacher, perfect for a complete beginner. She was also very knowledgable about the tango and its history and great company at the milonga, where we were fortunate enough to see live music and a professional show. Overall just what I was looking for and I would highly recommend.

Midnight Milonga - No visit to Buenos Aires would be complete without some kind of tango experience and I highly recommend this one. Andrea managed to patiently teach me and my ‘wooden’ legs the basic tango moves before we headed off to an atmospheric milonga that you would never find without a local guide. She was informative and great company and her enthusiasm for tango was infectious. I thoroughly recommend this great night out.

Tango experience - This was a really great experience and an opportunity to see part of Buenos Aires that you might not see as a visitor. We felt at ease as soon as Rafa opened the door, the tango lesson was pitched at the right level and teaching was very patient as we had never done and dancing like this before. If you are thinking of doing this you will have a good time with nice people who will make anyone feel welcome.

Tango Immersion Review - We loved the experience. What stuck out to me was that this experience truly felt to me like meeting up with a friend of a friend in another city. We were brought in and shown a lovely time by two very knowledgeable people, and had an awesome time not only with the tango, but getting to know them as friends. Would do it again in a heartbeat. Not to mention the tango lesson was delivered exceptionally well, and the Milonga we went to gave us the opportunity to see a fantastic tango orchestra. It was very private and gave us the opportunity to see a side of the tango nightlife that would have been rather difficult to make happen on our own.

Tango for Non-Tourists - Rafa and Esther were amazing! My wife and I had a private lesson in their home to learn the basics while sipping on wine and fernet,and then headed to a very local milonga to watch a great band and couples dancing. Great conversations about everything tango and life in BA in general.

How a lifelong tango fanatic starts - I wanted to visit Buenos Aires to see what tango was like, but that’s about it. I decided to take a dance lesson and came across Rafa and Esther’s private underground tango immersion. The experience went beyond my expectations in the most wonderful way. I was greeted by the sweetest most knowledgeable couple ,who met every one of my tango expectations. Not only were they patient with me (as I assumed I had 2 left feet) they also thought me the names of the steps and the origin of tango. We went on to a milonga, a night club for adults with comfortable sitting, food , drinks and wonder dancing atmosphere. As I watched many people dance from my comfortable seat , I sipped on delicious wine and the couple explained how the dance floor worked and more tango facts. The day after, I bought my first pair of tango shoes and will be taking lessons back home in Chicago. Rafa and Esther single handedly showed me how wonderful tango is and I will forever be grateful for my new go to workout dance hobby.

Authentic tango experience - This was a great experience. We enjoyed our dance lesson with Andrea - and it helped us understand how tricky it must be to dance the Tango well! The trip to the Melonga felt really authentic - with a live Tango orchestra - and we had the added bonus of seeing a performance by the 2022 world champion tango dancing couple - which was incredible.
