El Querandi - Cena Tango Show - If you are going by your own, your night out at the tango starts when you arrive at the tango venue in San Telmo. Deemed as
living evidence of civic memory by the Museum of the City of Buenos Aires, the venue is a truly historic site and will take you back to the tango heyday of the early 1900s.
If you choose the dinner option, before the show starts, enjoy a three-course dinner of Argentine and international dishes, accompanied by various wines, plus coffee and a glass of sparkling wine.
If you choose the show-only option, slip into your seat in time for the performance.
At about 10:15pm, the show will begin! Sit back and prepare to be blown away by the passionate performances happening on stage. The show will take you from 1860 to the present, highlight the history of tango and Buenos Aires. While musicians sing and play the accordion, piano, violin and bass, four couples will show off their dramatic tango skills. They’re some of the best dancers in town, so don’t miss out!

Superb - I was a little sceptical that the full package of: pickup and return to my hotel; 3 course dinner; and the actual show, would be only average.
Pick-up and return absolutely fine. With it being mass catering, I thought the dinner would be only adequate, so pleasantly surprised was a small but well varied menu and of above average quality and (with the package I bought) unlimited wine.
The show itself is very well put together, with fantastic musicians, very good dancers and singers, with one singer being one of the best male baritones I have heard in a long time. With one song in particular he was pitch perfect, very clear enunciation so that even with my poor Spanish I understood most of the song, especially the underlying emotion of it. He could have gone "full drama" with it but kept it restrained allowing his voice and the words to convey the meaning.
By the use of the songs and dances, with well selected projections and costumes, of the various times portrayed, the show gave a very concise and enjoyable history of the Argentine tango
Very, very enjoyable and well worth the money.

Recommend it! - We had a great time!
We are a party of 12, of adults and teenagers. The food was decent but this show isn’t about the food. (And the wine was plentiful if that matters to you.) It’s about the whole experience and the show was great!
The dancers and singers were very entertaining. The show doesn’t start until late (around 10:15/10:30 pm) so prepare yourself for that.
It’s a great activity for someone looking to experience tango in Argentina.

Overall, great value... - Overall, great value with: transport to and from the venue from my hotel, good dinner although service felt a little rushed at time.
Show itself very well thought out giving the history of tango, with era appropriate music, costumes and video display.
Great dancers, musicians and singers, especially the baritone who, for me, had one of the best voices I have heard in a long time - pitch perfect and wonderful emotion without overdoing it, which would be easy to slip into and go for "big dramatic" singing and gestures.

Perfect!!! - Everything was as described and on time. Nice tango dance with live music. We did not have dinner which was optional. Part of the package was a mediocre bottle of wine and ice cream. Enjoyed the show.

Unmissable tango evening - Great show portraying tango through the ages. Easy to see the dancers, singers and band. Opted for the show only option but this included a choice of entree or dessert plus endless amounts of beer, wine or soft drinks. Good service, enjoyable evening.

Tango show with dinner - We took in this tango show and were delighted with the incredibly talented dancers. We started off with choosing a appy main and dessert. I choose a salad mushroom risotto and dulce de leche ice cream. The salad was good but basic the risotto was disappointing mushy and not very tasty. My partner had steak and enjoyed it. The dancing didn’t start until almost 1030 but was excellent.

Try the other one - The show was good but the meal was sub par. I ordered pork and got lamb. My husband ordered a steak med rare and it was well done.

So so - The show was fantastic. Unfortunately TripAdvidor failed to deliver transportion as promised. Left us on our own in a strange city walking at midnight. Not please. Their excuses don’t hold up.

Mediocre community dinner theatre - This was not what I expected for a tango show. The food was just OK. I didn’t get my third course and only got one drink. The views are obstructed by support beams. The singing and dancing was more like community theatre. I talked to others who went to different shows and they had a better experience. I feel like the show was trying to do the history of tango through costume and dance but it didn’t translate well.
