Highlights
  • Plaza de Mayo - The May Square is located in the Porteño Downtown, neighborhood of Monserrat, in the area where the foundation of Buenos Aires took place. The Plaza de Mayo is the most important and oldest public square of the city. The name of this square commemorates the Revolution of May 25, 1810, date in which the citizens gathered around to expel the Viceroy and form a creole government. Since then, the Square has been a silent witness to the most important political and social events in the country.

Our tour guide, Enrique was fantastic and we were able to learn about Buenos Aires history, architecture and cultural life as well as enjoying touring the special neighborhoods that make Buenos Aires so interesting and diverse. The tour was very informative. Enrique made it very enjoyable and fun. He is full of knowledge and share his love for Buenos Aires. Thank you for coordinating the tour and thanks to Enrique for making it so special. We had a great time on the tour. We highly recommend it.

An Extraordinary three hour introduction to Buenos Aires - We had a limited amount of time in Buenos Aires and our hotel recommended Signature Tours. Our guide, Barbie, picked us up at the hotel and spent just over three and one half hours showing us the highlights of central Buenos Aries. We spent just the right amount of time walking, shopping a little, and getting a taste of the flavor, history, and vitality of the city. Barbie was very knowledgeable, and accommodating, she related well to our entire group. Her enthusiasm and expertise could well bring us back to see more of Buenos Aires in the future. We would all recommend Signature Tours.

Thank you, Myriam! - Buenos Aires is a big place with lots to see, and our wonderful guide, Myriam, managed to show us all of the highlights in just a few hours. By the end of our tour we felt we had a good understanding of the layout of the city, the different neighborhoods, and the history of Buenos Aires, and we saw all of the things I had hoped to see in our short one night stay in the city. At the end of our 10 day tour of Argentina, we had a very long (8 hours) layover at the airport in Buenos Aires, so we called up Signature Tours; Myriam and a great driver picked us up at the airport and showed us even more of the city that afternoon. We wanted to see the inside of one of the soccer stadiums and with a few calls she had us set up for a tour. We wanted to spend more time in Recoleta cemetery, so she walked us through the cemetery and told us stories about so many of the people buried there and showed us the most interesting mausoleums. She even helped us find a shoe store my daughter wanted to go back to after having briefly seen it on our one other day in the city! Then they took us to the airport in plenty of time for our departure flight! I was so impressed by Myriam's knowledge, her pleasant and professional manner, and her eagerness to help us see and do everything we were interested in. I was also impressed by Austin, who helped me on the phone to quickly arrange the second tour during our layover. He made sure he understood all of the details of the airports, flight information, etc. so he could have everything set up just right and confirmed everything with me. I really was impressed with this company and I highly recommend them.

Excellent Introduction to Buenos Aires - The tour was a good combination of pointing out landmarks from the car and journeying out on foot. We were a party of 6 couples who had just that morning completed a 16 night cruise, ending in Buenos Aires. Mariela, our guide, was wonderful, spoke excellent English, and told us a lot about the history of the city and what we were seeing in the present day. She worked with our hope to spend some time in the San Telmo area, and as it was a very hot afternoon by the time we got there, she quickly developed an alternative plan as our group of 12 decided that we’d rather pause for wine/beer/snacks than carry on walking. She paved the way for us to have refreshments rather than dinner at a charming restaurant. It was a great conclusion to our first views of Buenos Aires.

Marcelo / Guided Tour - Marcelo...just had us dialed in with in 30 minutes of our tour around the city. he was very knowledgeable in history / art and culture for the city of BA. we saw the highlights bit with his dialogue and our questions, which he answered with more info then we ever expected. the church hist was very special as we left the square, the fresh orange juice cart was a welcome and nice surmise mid day. the highlight...the lunch break which was not scheduled, we walked the market and checked out the stalls for the right food / drink. he directed us to the best empanadas and cold beer...he knew what we were looking for, his intuition and knowledge of the market paid off, fresh baked empanadas and cold beer. i wow be back...he will be the request for us as we want to do the gaucho tour he told us about. well priced and his english was perfect....the best moment was the entire afternoon.

Diego Was Amazing! - We booked this instead of going on an excursion from our cruise ship with 40-50 others, and paid less for the 2 of us to have a 4-5 hour tour of the best of Buenos Aires. We visited Boca, Recoleta, Palermo, Madera and others. Diego spoke fluent English with a French accent, as he had lived in France for 30 years. We were super-happy with the tour and are thinking of doing it again in Santiago next week.

Great English speaking tour of Buenos Aires - We had an absolutely lovely afternoon tour. We were treated so kindly and we learned so much history about Buenos Aires. Our guide Emiliano really loves his city and it shows. He helped us to love it as well. Nicolas our driver got us safely around the city and waited for us as we walked the cemetery, shopped and toured the Cathedral and Plaza. Would highly recommend this service. We really needed the English tour to fully appreciate the city.

Be careful with what you book. They offer private tours that aren't private - We book a private tour for 6, paid in full and when the van arrived to pickup us up it wasn't private. We let the tour guide know, we got a call from the tour operator who told us that if we wanted the same tour private it would cost another 250 usd. We had to pay the 250 usd extra and wait another 90 minutes to be picked up again. Hernan the tour guide was great but impossible not to feel ripped off.
