Additional Information

The excursion journeys through Retiro and Recoleta, two must-visit districts in Buenos Aires, strolling down broad, tree-lined streets that are peaceful and secure. On this expedition, we rewind back to the early 1900s, picturing the lifestyles of affluent families alternating between their city palaces and European jaunts. The outing is lively and swift, consisting of a leisurely walk just over a kilometer long. We aim for enjoyment and a memorable experience, relating not just a slice of our nation’s past, but also sharing amusing and lesser-known tales of the ruling classes of the era. As a local guide, it’s my pleasure to impart all I know about my home city, advice on places to dine, activities to undertake, sights to see, through the lens of a resident. Sharing my life with visitors and perhaps forming friendships is something I cherish. This service comes backed by nearly a decade’s experience doing what I’m passionate about.

I'm really happy I went on the trip - You must visit the Recoleta Cemetery if you're in Buenos Aires! It truly changed things. Because to Jimena's enthusiasm for the region's mysteries and history, the trip was really interesting.
