We provide beachfront accommodation in wooden bungalows adorned with palm leaf roofs at the kitesurfing hotspot. You can choose from an array of packages, offering either 10 or 12 hours of kitesurfing lessons inclusive of meals and stay.
Buen Hombre, encapsulated by beautiful mountains, is the windiest beach in the Dominican Republic and still retains its raw charm, untouched by commercial tourism.
The optimum kitesurfing conditions at Buen Hombre ensures rapid learning, thus saving you time and resources. Compared to Cabarete, Buen Hombre boasts a higher wind frequency, fewer crowds, and ultra-smooth waters!

The absolute (kite) paradise - My experience in Buen Hombre was amazing . All my expectations were exceeded! Not only was the kite instructor very professional (thanks to him I learnt kitesurfing in only 3 days!), the staff was also very welcoming, attentive and caring - having breakfast and dinner together with everyone felt like being part of a big family! And the food was just great, varied every day and the dinner always included fresh fish or seafood. I was very lucky with the weather, the wind was perfect every day and it was sunny 98% of the time while it was apparently raining in the rest of the country. Waking up to the sound of the waves made the experience just perfect.
I will definitely return soon!

The best kite surfing classes and also the best kite trips to the islands and other cool beaches - The best kite surfing school, very high level instructors and great service. amazing how fast you can improve in perfect conditions! They also offer to stay between the location in Cabarete and Buen Hombre and you can use kite classes also between the two places. i did not have very much time, so i learned in Kite Buen Hombre and also practiced 2 day sin the choppier water in Cabarete. Kite Buen Hombre also has the best downwinders and kite trips in the Dominican Republic.

World class Kiting without the Crowd!!! - ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! I’ve been to many different trips for kite lessons and accommodations around the world and these instructors are by far the BEST!!! They made everything so simple and easy to navigate. The location is incredible I couldn’t have asked for a better trip all around.

Great place with friendliness and good kiting. - Staying at KBH was a blast. The place has everything that makes you feel at ease and the kitespot itself is just great. Wind picks up only at about 12-1pm so the mornings are for chilling. The large shallow waterfront makes it perfect for semi beginners such as myself. Go before the whole world discovers buen hombre! Kite Paradise - What a crazy experience! We planned to stay 4 days ... We stayed 2 weeks in this beautiful paradise!
The kitesurf spot is just amazing! The wind is picking up everyday perfectly on time !
All the teacher are great and helpful, always there to help you or teach you nice things!
All the kites are nice and easy to handle! Honestly to learn kite is the perfect place!
I would love to come back <3

The best kite surf teachers - I visited Kite Buen Hombre in April and it was a wonderful experience . There is ideal conditions, flat water, very good wind and Micky and the boys are great instructors. During my stay, the wind was absolutely every day. Kite Buen Hombre also provides accommodation in eco friendly bungalos. There are also wonderful mountain views and colorful sunsets.

The perfect spot for learning - Learned how to kite here! Consistent wind, flat water, very well equipped kite school and good vibes. The boys helped me set up my kite, launch and take it back down. Whenever I got out of the water Miky and Eric would give me tips on how to improve my kiting. There’s hammocks on the second floor of the school where you can relax after your session and watch the boys put on a kite show 🤩

Kiters paradise away from the crowded beaches. - We had the best experience at Kite Buen Hombre.
The water was just as flat and shallow as promised to us with so an amazing place to pracitice my skills. Safe environment for us with no other people aside from the Kite camps kiters. The team was great and gave me all the help I needed. We also went to paradise island with private boat and did the downwinder along mangroves. Best downwinder I have had so far, definete must do!

Horrible…Rin Cazy… - Omg… Rin the owner has issues…
1. Her dog attached me and Rin did nothing but drink alcohol.
Rin also yelled at me in front of all her guests..
Many other issues happened as well..
The place is a unorganized business.. one day I had the only pump for over 10 guests..
The beach is amazingKiting but if you don’t stay at her camp Rin dogs will attack you….
I will never stay the because Rin the owner is Crazy….
The town in the process of kicking her out… she is squatting on the land. The government needs to be notified..
