- Erzsébetváros - Only in Budapest there are 24 synagogues and pray houses. There are a lot of monuments of Jewish history, culture and religion. But the main “city within a city” - the historic Jewish quarter, the former ghetto - is in the heart of old Budapest, in Erzsébetváros.

- Kazinczy Street - The Central area of the district is also called Kazinczy. Back in the days there was a buzzing Jewish market, surrounded by shops, restaurants, law firms. Now it resembles a wine cellar with kosher wine of high quality.
