Lazy day spa does what it says on the tin - Booked the lazy day spa. Booking in was fast and efficient. Lady who gave us our robes etc was very friendly. After being in thermal bath went to chill in the lazy day room, this was relaxing and chilled

Gellert Thermal Spa - Budapest - An excellent relaxing day at a beautiful venue. We came out afterwards fully recharged and invigorated and fully enjoyed our visit and would recommend it to family and friends that were visiting Budapest.

Great experience - Private cabin, clean warm water, relaxing massage. Friendly staff. Great coffee shop. Needs better, clearer signage direction. Difficult to navigate. Great once you find where you’re going .

Worth a visit - Really interesting set of pools. Different from Széchenyi but nice to swim in a fascinating old building. Outdoor pool was closed but outdated and probably dangerous anyway! The outdoor hot pool was a nice place to rest after all our walking in the city

Gellert spa - The location is beautiful, inside a hotel. we recommend accessing when it opens in the morning, to avoid the crowds from mid-morning onwards

Mixed bag - Got there and issues as Viator ticket was bar code and not QR do took a while to be let in. Viator needs to address this with the provider as not good for clients. I’d read you could hire towels but turns out only buy them for £7 each. Bought one as no choice and left it behind. Large outdoor pool was empty and shut which was a shame. Other facilities all good. Busy but got in everywhere. A nice experience for 2 hours.

Not what we expected - The water was Luke warm, the largest pool was closed, it was very crowded. Was disappointed given all the hype

Staff really let the place down - The baths are ok and I suspect at times great, but please please note that if you don’t have flip flops and have to buy them there they will charge about €25. I then discovered there were ones for €12.50. I asked if I could exchange and the women at the desk said as I had paid on a card I could not have a refund or exchange. I queried this and said I didn’t think that was right, but was told they couldn’t refund and let my buy the other shoes. This ruined the trip and when we found the wave pool was closed and the whole place was poorly sign posted and organised it was a real shame. So for the baths itself please please pay more attention to your visitors, it really would make all the difference.

Nothing special - The structure has a lot of untapped potential, little maintenance and €45 is too much for just two swimming pools and nothing else.

Unhappy with Trip Advisor booking - Entry was stressful as my booking confirmation hadn't been emailed over. Reception staff said there is always a problem with Viator (Trip Advisor) bookings. The actual spa was pleasant when I eventually got in, but will book directly in future.
