Well worth the price - We had a great time tasting wines across Hungary. No pressure to buy. I’m not a wine connoisseur but regardless all of us had a great time ego with. Michael. The meal of curry chicken with gnocchi was outstanding. Truly loved the chicken curry and gnocchi. We all had a great time.

Wine o'clock afternoon - An excellent tour to three small wine cellars in the countryside near Budapest. Our knowledgeable host Susie educated us on the history of the country before arriving at our first destination. All three were small family run vineyards producing good quality wines using traditional or modern techniques. We were a small group and enjoyed a very convivial and pleasant afternoon. It was great to meet other wine minded people from different parts of the globe as well. We tasted at least three wines from each vineyard (3 altogether) and enjoyed a full meal at the last destination. A great afternoon was had by all.

Lovely afternoon and great wine! - Fun excursion to an adorable area outside the city. Vineyards were lovely, we had tastings at two of them. The second vineyard provided a delicious Hungarian lunch to pair with the wines. All wine was excellent. Our tour guide Michael was very knowledgeable and the history he shared with us was so interesting. Highly recommended!

Very generous amount of... - Very generous amount of wine - 12 different ones in total - which was both a good and bad thing. Certainly getting your money's worth but by the end we were struggling to keep up with which wine was which, partly due to the amount consumed but also because it was a little rushed with the hosts coming around with the next wine before we had finished. Maybe one fewer wine per stop would be a better balance. Otherwise, the wine cellars were lovely, the guide was friendly and it was nice to get out of the city.

Could be better, meh. - The tour was fine but not what I was expecting based on the video. We stopped at 3 vineyards and sampled 4 wines at each place. It was entirely sit down, we did not tour the vineyard or get to see the barrels as advertised in the video. The wine was fine better than I expected but it wasn’t like AMAZING. The dinner included was a home made meal at one of the stops , don’t eat more than your allocated share because the tour guide WILL give you s**t about it. He complained to us about his previous tour. So to all my Jewish friends, don’t tell em you’re vegetarian just for simplicity because they will serve chicken and expect you to not touch it. If you tell them you’re vegetarian but actually you’re just kosher, they will give you s**t for eating the chicken The tour guide was also kind of mean in my opinion. I was a bit late to the meet up, I was waiting at the wrong door. When I apologized and told the guide I was at the wrong door, he was like “ why would you go there, that road is blocked and is not the main entrance” in a very rude way. first of all, that’s where Google maps led me and secondly if I knew my way around why the hell would I need a tour from a jerk ?? Later on I learned from the other tourists that I wasn’t even that late. They had just finished counting heads and sat down. So they waited for a min! Then when we started driving, the tour guide was super passive aggressive . He said “ok now that we’re FINALLY starting “ . Just absolutely mean and unnecessary for someone who works in hospitality. The tour guides name was Michael. And in case there’s more than 1 Michael, it’s the Michael with the blue/purple hair.
