Castle and Church experience - Monica is a wonderful tour guide. She tells us how it is and does not make up stories. She guided us through the Matthias Church and leads us away from the crowd. We were able to see the whole Castle area pointing out historic and relevant sites. She led us down to the Castle garden and the Danube River. And she took us to the bus stop and helped us get our tickets. Too bad that Buda Castle has a lot of reconstruction work going on. But all in all, we were pleased with our tour.

Exceptional guide, stunningly beautiful sights! - This was the best tour we took during our time in Budapest. Our guide, Bálint, was exceptional - extremely knowledgeable, kind, prepared, and fun to talk to. We asked many questions about little details, and he always knew the answers. We also had a great time joking and learning more about the city at the same time we were learning about the history of the castle. The actual content of this tour is terrific as well. The inside of the Matthias Church is staggeringly beautiful, the views on this tour will be the most stunning of your time in Budapest, and we really got a full survey of the Castle District and all its interesting secrets. Cannot recommend this enough! Absolute Tours does a very nice job every single time.

A Heartfelt Tour From A Native Hungarian - Our group had an unforgetable experience with Christina on our private walking tour and cafe stop. She knows Budapest so well. She truly loves her homeland, which was very touching. This was from the heart. Christina personalized our walk to accommodate the desires of the group, at our pace. What made Christina special was her warm personality and natural people skills. Absolute Tours has a gem of an employee. I have no hesitation in recommending her.

3 hours in Budapest - We had a 4 pm flight out of Budapest and rather than spend most of the day at the airport we booked a 3 hour Walking Tour with Absolute Tours. Our fabulous guide Tamas was a wealth of information, his knowledge, his English, his sense of humour, he was awesome. We would recommend Absolute Tours and Tamas to anyone who has a bit of spare time in Budapest.

Fantastic tour of Budapest - Four of us had a wonderful private walking tour of Budapest yesterday with Timea of Absolute Tours. We managed to fit in visits to Heroes Square (where Timea gave us a condensed but informative version of 1000 years of Hungary's history), the top of the Basilica, and Matthias Church in the Castle District of Buda -- along with many sights in between. Loved the trips on the underground! Timea was informative, friendly, professional, and responsive to our many questions. Her English is excellent. Booking process online was simple through the Absolute Tours website. Highly recommend!!
