Worth the money! - Abdullah was really great and the group we had were all so fun! Would recommend to anyone looking for an easy night out!!!

Make sure to do this. - Peter was our guide, he was brilliant gave us loads of good tips. Showed us some amazing nightlife. We met a great group we all had the best night.

Amazing People, Rude Guide, Lame Bars - SUCH a mixed bag. Our guide Abdullah seemed annoyed of us from the start. When we were all meeting at the beginning he wasn’t talking to any of us other than the two friends he brought along with him… I asked which bars we were going to and he rudely said he wasn’t going to tell me(?) The bars we went to got lamer and lamer as the night progressed. Most of them were filled with teenagers (and some of our group members were in their 30s so I’m sure they hated that even more than I did [I’m in my mid 20s]). I went out all week before and found better bars myself from Google Maps! I even asked if we could go to the popular bars I went to the night before and Abdullah said no and that it was “overrated and overcrowded”, before taking us to another bar with bad music, long lines and a heater on full blast that made us all sweat. And some of the bars he took us to were EMPTY. It also was a Tuesday night but Budapest was still partying so there were no excuses. There were a few solo travelers on this tour (including myself) and Abdullah did nothing to make us feel welcome… Luckily we all have great personalities so we made fast friends. The people on this tour were absolutely amazing and made the entire experience so worth it. We had guests from America, Ireland, Australia, Canada and England! We all hit it off quickly and had a famous time as our tour guide literally hid from us. I’m not kidding — every time we got to a bar he would disappear until it was time to go to the next bar. It actually became comical and felt like an SNL sketch. At the end of the tour I took our group to the ruin bars that Abdullah wouldn’t let us go to and it was a blast! Everyone had more fun than before. Maybe I should change my career and be a bar crawl guide! I still weirdly recommend this tour, as it is great for solo travelers & couples, and you’ll meet amazing people!

Run Away. - The pub crawl was a tragedy, I had huge hopes but left feeling disappointed and scammed. We are two Canadians who joined the group with multiple people from different counties across Europe and we all felt the same. Our tour guides had the charisma of burnt rubber. and did nothing to rally us as a group, nor did they comment on any of history of places we went. As a matter of fact, we often caught them Googling things as the tour went on. As if they were improvising? We also asked for recommendations for drinks that Hungary is known for and they just shrugged their shoulders and said "get what you want" On that note, we were promised a tour through the "best of Budapest's night life" and we went to regular bars that were half empty. When we confronted the tour guide about taking us to the Ruin Bars, our request was dismissed nonchalantly with them telling us it was "overrated," even though that was what we paid for! The tour guides just sat there passively and did nothing to engage us as a group. Also each stop was supposed to be 45 minutes, but I timed on my phone and we were shuffled out after only 25 minutes. A person paid for "power hour" which was unlimited drinks, but we never stayed long enough for him to enjoy it. Lastly, at the last bar, the guides left abruptly, not even addressing everyone in the group. Usually these things end in a group photo to commemorate the fun, but they couldn't even be bothered. We went to the Ruin Bars after and it was a hell of a time, I am livid that they did not include this as part of the tour.
