- Barlanglakás Emlékmúzeum - This cave dwelling is a charming little museum located in Budapest’s southern district, and it is the last of its kind open to visitors. It offers a glimpse into the lives of workers from the late 19th to early 20th centuries.
- Zaborszky Kuria - Borvaros - Originally part of an extensive cellar network in southern Buda (now Budafok, formerly Promontor), this cellar continues to operate as a visitor and events center, museum, restaurant, and wine cellar. Visitors can enjoy lunch or wine tastings, with a particular emphasis on the museum aspect.

For those who have explored the main attractions of Budapest and are eager to discover something more unique, this exceptional journey into the southern districts of Buda (New Buda and Budafok) is perfect.
The adventure begins with a visit to one of the city’s most distinctive churches: the cave church, carved into Mount Gellert, which boasts a relatively recent history.
Next, explore a truly unique residence: a cave dwelling transformed into a small museum, which was still inhabited just a few decades ago. Prior arrangement is necessary for this visit, so last-minute bookings may not be feasible.
The journey concludes at the Zaborszky wine cellar/catacomb, part of an extensive cellar network beneath the district. Wine tastings are offered here.
Depending on availability and opening times, the order of visits may vary. Please ensure you have a working contact (WhatsApp) for prior coordination of details. If needed, a car or van can be arranged.
