Different aspects of art nouveau at its best - We enjoyed it so much. It‘s so much better to have a guide who knows about the topic and also loves it and not just learned it by heart Thank you so much Miklos Tim and Christine

Learn to look up in Budapest! - Fungararian is a retired history professor with a wealth of knowledge he enjoys sharing. The tour included use of the Metro and trams (useful as it was our first day in town). This allowed us to visit many of the most glamorous buildings in town and generally got us oriented to the city. We learned the primary features of Art nouveau so I'm sure I'll recognize it in the future. He was very accommodating through the tour and even asked if we wanted to add on an extra 30 minutes to see two additional buildings. The stained glass windows at the end of the tour were spectacular! You will see the city through different eyes after this tour!

If you like history and architecture, do not miss this opportunity with Miklos. - What a marvelous tour with Miklos! As an architect, I can attest to his breadth and depth of knowledge about not just Hungarian Art Nouveau and Art Deco but the history which influenced what you see today. He led us on a well thought out tour (including the use of public transportation which saved our feet) to see about a dozen buildings. We ended with his warm hospitality at his home to see the outstanding stain glass work of Miksa Roth which survived WWII with his cat modeling for us. Sign up. You will not be disappointed!

Awesome Tour - This was an excellent tour with a very well informed guide. We saw items of Art Nouveau and learned much more of the history of the city, from this specific tour guide, than we would have otherwise. Our guide was very passionate about the city. We highly recommend.

Knowledgeable Art Nouveau tour - My husband and I enjoyed our 3hr tour with Miklos, focused on Art Nouveau. We learnt a great deal about three key figures in the Hungarian A.N. movement. At a moderate pace, we stopped at about a dozen buildings, to admire and discuss. Miklos graciously welcomed us to his home where he shared his personal glassworks by Miksa Roth. In addition, he answered our many questions about Hungarian history and culture. We loved taking public transport too!

Very Authentic Budapest Tour - Miklos was an amazing guide! His attention to detail was fantastic and he pointed out things within the city that I have never noticed before (and I visit Budapest often). His materials, such as his maps and pictograms, were incredibly helpful in understanding Hungarys rich history. His explanations were very thorough and he presented the history in a very engaging and interesting manor. Truly an excellent experience and one of the best tours I have ever had the pleasure of going on!

Phenomenal - Miklosz was amazing! I learned more on this tour about history, architecture and Hungary than I’ve learned all my years of high school and college combined. Not only is this man hilarious and a delight to be around, but he is an encyclopedia of unbound knowledge. He thoroughly answered all the questions we had and pointed out details I’m sure less experienced guides would have brushed over. Being half Hungarian myself, I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a true authentic Hungarian experience or to anyone looking to get to know the city on an intimate level. It was delight.

Great tour - We had an amazing private tour through Budapest, with lots of new information and interesting discussions! Miklós even prepared some specific topics based on our backgrounds, which I really appreciated. I can definitely recommend the private tours with the Fungarian!
