Additional Information

Buda Castle and Fisherman’s Bastion in Budapest, Hungary, provide a distinct experience to visitors owing to their extensive historical and architectural relevance. As a UNESCO World Heritage site, Buda Castle was the residence of Hungarian monarchs for numerous centuries and currently accommodates a variety of museums, including the Budapest History Museum and the Hungarian National Gallery.

Fisherman’s Bastion, a terrace of neo-Gothic and neo-Romanesque design, overlooks the Danube River and provides awe-inspiring sweeping views of the city. Its name was derived from the fishermen that once safeguarded this part of the city walls. The Bastion’s seven towers symbolize the seven Magyar tribes that established Hungary.

Collectively, these historical sites offer a glance into Hungary’s heritage, from the medieval period to the contemporary era. The locality is also adorned with inviting streets, picturesque cafes, and stores, making it an attractive spot for both tourists and residents.

Great way to see Budapest - This tour was brilliant fun. We had some training prior to getting out in the Segway and then we were off. Our guide, Alan, was knowledgeable and interesting and made sure we were safe at all times. I would definitely recommend this company

What a great experience! - We had the most amazing Segway trip. Sam and Alex our guides were so incredibly kind and helpful with our tour. They were very patient as we were new to segways and a bit nervous. But they reassured us and we felt very comfortable and safe on the journey. You have got to try and book Euro Segway!

The best way to see Budapest - Not only is great fun to drive around on a Segway (and easy too, even if you’ve never done it before) but it’s also the quickest and easiest way to cross the Danube and make your way up to the Fisherman’s Bastion and Buda Castle. Alen, our guide, was so nice, super knowledgable, and great company. It was the best thing we did in Budapest. Book now - you’ll love it!

A fun adventure - A fun tour of the castle area by Segway. Alen provided numerous stops to introduce the history of the sights. The time flew by and the pace was good for novice Segway riders.
