The road also leads to Bâlea Lake, a stunning glacier lake located at an altitude of 2,034 meters. Here, travelers can enjoy the crisp air and cool temperatures, take in the breathtaking views of Transylvania, and enjoy a delightful lunch.
On the return trip, the group will admire the Bâlea waterfall and make a stop at the Vidraru Dam for a refreshing break.
There is a good chance of encountering brown bears along the route.
