A singular experience and a great reprieve from the heat! - This was a great trip, well worth the money and time. You can see videos on TT or IG at TrvlZaddy. Our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us tons of information, both about the mine and the region. I'm a little claustrophobic so the journey down was a little challenging, but once I got down there, I forgot all about it. It was truly stunning! And it was 22° cooler than in the city so that was great too!

Must experience it! - Tour guide Dan was great! The site was amazing! A must do in Romania. The entry to the exit was an awesome experience. My teen daughter and I pick this tour as our favorite so far. The time is perfect to see everything, eat and do extra activities available.

Excellence - Luciano David is an excellent tour guide. Along the way were explanations things from Romania. He speaks clear precise high understandable, makes one or the other joke. He's an employee to be kept. Of all those who've played me as a guide he takes the prize of 10.

Magnificent views. Lots to see. Very cold - Transfer takes around 4hrs in total. Transfer driver spoke and understood English well, we got picked up and dropped off at the same spot in the city centre near the university. We had a stop off at a gas station for toilet use and a "Luca" to grab a quick bite to eat. There is a small cafe and toilets within the salt mines. The gift shop is everything salt related. There is a VR experience. Trampolines, peddle karts, seating, statues, photo opportunities. Would definitely recommend. Spent about 1-2hrs here. Lots of facts/information around to read.

Impressive, but loose guide - The impressive mines, when you enter, you feel what the company of the ring might feel as you enter those of Moria.
The guide, Santiago, only gave us a brief explanation of 5 minutes. It would have been nice if you could explain the history of the mine. He was more escort than guide. Outside the mines there was a flea market, and it didn’t give us time to go for a walk, nor did it give us the option to buy anything to eat.
It is worth it only if you are more than 8 days in Bucharest, although there is plenty of distance to be only 1:30h there. In addition, the tour allegedly lasted 8 hours, and lasted 6 hours.

Incorrect meeting location/no bus AC - The confirmation email gave us a location, and link to maps, that was incorrect. Our guide held the tour bus as we got an Uber and then ran to the place the bus was! We appreciate the bus waiting but it caused us more money and a lot of stress!!
The mine tour was as described but our bus home had very little to no Air conditioning on the 2 hour drive back to Bucharest. On a sunny day that reached almost 100 degrees it was very uncomfortable.
