We journey through Făgăraș National Park, where there are opportunities to encounter wild brown bears in their natural environment.
We’ll marvel at the Goat Waterfall and have the chance to taste or purchase local products such as cheeses, pastrami, jams, and alcoholic beverages.
Our destination is the Bâlea Glacial Lake, situated at over 2,000 meters altitude, where we will have lunch and enjoy free time for hiking and photography.

- Bears are active between May and September.
- We will NOT visit the interior of Poenari Fortress, we will only see it from below - outside. To enter in Poenari Fortress you have to climb 66 floors on the stairs!
- Please do not bring any food into the vehicle! We’ll see wild bears up close. If the car smells like food, we become a target for bears
- On the mountain the temperature is 20 degrees lower than in Bucharest, dress thickly!
