This tour made me want to come back to see more! - At a friend's suggestion, I took the "Beautiful Decay and Alternative" tour, and I'm so glad I did. I was only in Bucharest for a few days on business and had a single day to look around and get to know the city a little. I wasn't sure what to expect, but I had a great time. My guide, Ioana, was fantastic. The tour took in loads of incredible buildings, from houses to museums, that are in various states of decay but also in various stages of repair and renovation. Each one has a story which Ioana conveyed with knowledge and passion, and we even had special permission to enter a number of them. This was followed by a tour of some amazing street art, which I absoutely loved. We even got to go inside the university and see some incredibe murals by student artists. I got to see a vibrant, creative side of Bucharest which I would otherwise never have been aware of. The tour made me want to visit the city again and get to know it better. If I do, I'll definitely take another one of these tours (maybe the coffee tour Ioana said was in the pipeline!).

Fun and interesting tour on graffiti and bukarest in general - We booked the Alternative Tour on very short notice and the organising team was very helpful in making it possible for us (Thank you for that!). Our tour was with Lala and it was one of the best guided tours we ever took part in. Lala was awesome and she knew a lot - not only about graffitis but also about history and architecture. We had a really great time and learned a lot. Highly recommend it! Best, Ines & Verena

Hidden treasures - On our alternative tour through Bukarest our guide Ioana showed us beautiful street art and architecture that we would not have seen without her. She kept amazing us on this three hour walk with her knowledge about the city, the buildings and the art we passed by. A really memorable experience! Sylvia from the Netherlands.

Excellent street art tour of Bucharest - As a big fan of murals and street art, tracking them in every new city I visit has become a hobby of mine. One of the most efficient ways to find them, especially in Bucharest, where many of the murals are rather hidden, is via a tour. Ioana was an excellent guide for this purpose: highly knowledgeable about the local street art scene, architecture and history. I really enjoyed walking around the center of the city and getting a clearer sense of its vibe. Thanks to Urban Adventures and Ioana for letting me see Bucharest through new eyes.

Super street art tour with Ioana - Ioana led this street art tour and was very knowledgeable about the city and local artists. She was also super nice and answered all of the questions our tour had. The tour takes you to some places you'd never see wandering along by yourself. Highly recommended and high value for your money.

Bucharest Localities and Street Art Tour, with Tudor - Tudor gave us an amazing walkabout on a cold and wet Sunday morning in Bucharest. We learnt so much about local areas and hidden gems of cafes and book shops. We didn't know much about street art or understand its symbolism and beauty, but now we do. Amazing. And we heard the stories about the new, old and crumbling architecture that is part of the understated beauty that is Bucharest. Tudor was knowledgeable and enthusiastic and loves his work. We hope to visit again and select another tour with Tudor.

Beautiful Art & History Tour - Dana did a great job providing the history and showing us the wonders of the city. She knows and loves her city and know how to share that with the tourists. Dana followed up with us post tour and provided plenty of recommendations of other things to see, places to eat and things to do. I highly recommend this tour.

Top-notch city tour - Dana gave us a very interesting walking tour of the city. She knows all the nooks and crannies - she has such a great eye for detail. Great photo opps, but even better were all the insights she provided on culture and history. Her English was fantastic. Her tour was the highlight of our trip.

very nice experience; seeing the city from a different angle - To be honest, at first, i was sceptical, if the tour would be worth the money, but after yesterdays' tour i can tell you, that it's really worth it. With our guide Andra, we - only a small, but sympathetic group of three "alternative" ;-) tourists - really had a nice enthusiastic person, whose english was excellent and who showed us some public and some "secret" places of the city, which i would never had realized and explored without the help of such a well informed guide. We got some very nice insights into architecture and street art in Bucharest and the mentality of it's inhabitants and additionaly had interesting chats all over the places and nearly all the time... Thanks a lot to everybody, but especially to you, Andra! Florian (from Berlin)

Dana was a great guide - Dana Toma was our guide and she did a wonderful tour into neighborhoods and telling our small group of 3 about Romania history, politics, and architechture. Additionally, she helped me purchase a poster in a book store and then afterwards sent me a number of fabulous local recommendations that were spot on. Take any of these tours and I am confident you will be pleased.
