Nice walk, learned a lot - The tour was great. The group wasn’t too big or too small and the tour guide was enthusiastic and informative. It was sometimes hard to hear her because 5pm is traffic time and it was very loud in the city, some sort of mic would have been very helpful. Be prepared to do lots of walking and enjoy!

Learnt so much on these free walking tours - Mihai was our guide for this tour. His knowledge was amazing. Very interesting to learn all about the turbulent past of Bucharest. Highly recommend the free walking tours. We did both the Old city tour with Laura and the Communist tour, both were fabulous.

Communism vs Monarchy tour - Laura was a great knowledgeable guide. She was waiting for us with plenty of time and make sure all the participants were there before starting. She filled us with all the history and details about the topic while walking around important spots. Even when finishing the tour help us with organising our dinner for a restaurant in Romanian. Thank you. Highly recommended.

Bucharest (Not Budapest!) - This was one of the highlights of our trip to Bucharest. Laura was our guide and she was so knowledgeable about the historical, political, societal and literary aspects of the city, it's buildings and Romania's story. Not only did she know what she was talking about, her delivery and presentation was superb. While many guides can recite the prepared script, it is in answering the unusual questions that they show their expertise (or not!) Laura handled every question expertly and professionally but also with great humour. Her stories beyond just the facts of the buildings or the statues of famous people were hilarious. A fantastic way to get to know the city and it's personality. And to satisfy an Irish audience, she made sure to tell us that she knew Bram Stoker was born in Dublin! Highly recommended.

A great intro to Bucharest - Bucharest isn't the easiest city to visit by yourself. this tour was a great way to get some history and context for the big things and get shown around the less obvious places.
