Great Tour - A really enjoyable tour: interesting, informative, and tasty! A perfect way to see and learn about Bucharest history and neighbourhoods with a local, and sample the food and drinks - especially if you are not in town for long. Our guide was informed, relaxed and friendly. The group itself not too big and a lovely bunch of people. We were not rushed, everything nicely timed to suit everyone’s needs. Recommended!

Wonderful food and city tour in Bucharest. Just the best! - I have done food tours the world over. This is one of the best! A good food tour gives you great local food in places you would never find. This does just that! If i could give 10 out of 5 I would. Mikaela our guide was wonderful and very knowledgable not just about food but about architecture and the cities history. If you do nothing else in Bucharest, do this tour!

Blue Ribbon Food and Culture Tour of Bucharest - This tour is about so much more than food - although there is plenty of that as well. Alex was a top-notch guide for our group of 5. He introduced himself at the meeting point with a fresh, warm pretzel for us each. After strolling through some neighborhoods and finding out facts about who owns and lives in the pre-communism palaces, we went to a small neighborhood cafe where we had sour cherry palinka in an ice cold little cup along with a platter of typical meats, cheeses, spreads and bread. Yum! After this, we hopped on a bus to head to the large market where everything was sold from homegoods, to produce to deli items. We were all eager to buy the little palinka cups and Alex tracked some down for us. He even tracked down some palinka for us. We had a wonderful tour of the market and Alex bought from lovely produce which he prepared for our next stop at Terasa Obor, where we had some of the famous BBQ mici sausage that people will stand in a long line to buy. Not us! With Alex, we march right up to a reserved table. Mici are to die for! After this, we are off to have a tram experience and return near to our starting point. This was a fabulous tour that was very well planned and led. These Americans highly recommend it!
