One of the best! - This tour is awesome- as is the tour guide Marius. I am a TA and every client I have booked with him says he is wonderful. It’s reasonably priced hit s private tour and tenfold better than those big bus tours. He is flexible with itinerary and timing. Highly recommend!

An unforgettable, personalized experience - This was an amazing experience for my family. Marius was so knowledgeable and patient with us. He took us to the cemetery where our grandmother was buried, in addition to the standard tour spots. Would highly recommend!

Sobering tour of Jewish Bucharest - The old Jewish cemetery was immense, and also sad because it is unkempt, with overgrown shrubbery that covers much of the site. There is no one to maintain it.

Eye-opening, informative, and customized tour - Marius was the best! He customized our tour to include exactly what we wanted to see. We visited synagogues, museums, memorials, and walked the Jewish quarter. The commentary was interesting, informative, and eye-opening. Marius even took us to the cemetery at the edge of the city where victims of the pogrom of 1941 are buried. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits Bucharest. The heritage of Jews in Romania is something most of us are sadly unaware of and need to know about.

A Wonderful Day Exploring Jewish Bucharest - We had a wonderful day with Marius, our guide for the Bucharest Jewish Heritage Tour. We visited the major Jewish sites still existing in Bucharest beginning with one of three cemeteries. It was terribly overgrown but held centuries of history and told its own story of a once 1,000,000 strong community now with few remaining. Synagogues, the Jewish Museum, and the Holocaust Memorial were among other sites included in the tour. We even had lunch at the only kosher restaurant in Bucharest! Marius is terrific with excellent English skills, a comfortable car, and is highly engaging. We highly recommend this tour!

A sobering subject that everyone should learn about - Marius is very kind and thoughtful. He was very accommodating. He even asked the cemetery caretaker to look up family names for me. The synagogues are beautiful but I thought Marius’ explanation of the monument was really interesting.

Vital Lesson in History - Marius was a great guide to the Jewish heritage of Bucharest. He was familiar with how its community made vital contributions to the city before World War II and how it mostly disappeared postwar. We visited a Jewish cemetery, sadly overgrown because the community is so small today. The tour provided several stops to visit synagogues and the Romanian Holocaust memorial.

A reflection of the past - What a wonderful, and awesome experience. Marius gave that personal touch with his first hand and local knowledge. If you happen to be interested in this subject, whether you're Jewish or not, I would highly recommend this company and Marius ,to give you an in depth review on this tour of all things required. Keep up the good work.
