Additional Information

Embark on a journey to Bucharest’s eerie side. Near the Old Town and even amidst the nighttime revelries, peculiar occurrences are not uncommon. Keep alert, as unanticipated ‘local spirits’ may accompany us on this exploration. Having been settled for over two millennia, countless events of death, homicide, enigmas have taken place within the city’s bounds, and if you listen carefully, you can discern the whispers of the uncanny nearly everywhere. This voyage takes you to spook-ridden dwellings and locales, sharing pertinent tales of Bucharest’s past. Don’t be afraid, as delightful tales of deities, benevolent specters, and other mysteries also constitute Bucharest’s narrative. Oh, and we couldn’t overlook Dracula, whose profound links with the city and its history render him an ever-present figure.

A fun-filled, spooky evening! ✨ - I really enjoyed this tour! Bogdan was very attentive and a great storyteller! He walked us around Bucharest's city center while telling us stories that were just the right amount of scary. It was fun, filled with folklore and culture, as well as some historical facts that helped weave the narrative of the city's more spooky side. I would recommend it to everybody that enjoys discovering a city's b-side. Bogdan provides the tour in Spanish, but there's also the option to book it in English through the website!

Great way to find out more about the history of Romania from a local - If your into folklore and superstition, this a great tour. I’ve always been in to the stories of Strigoi and mythical folklore , so when I spotted this tour i just had to do it. My husband booked it for us, and I was a bit dubious when I noticed it was for 2 1/2 hours walking, however it really didn’t feel that long and it wasn’t constant walking. Our Guide Gabriella was amazing, and very knowledgeable even when I kept asking questions. We learnt so much from her, even things that were personal experienced by herself and family. I highly recommend this tour, and if you can try to request Gabriella. We visited places we probably would never have seen if we hadn’t taken part in this tour, we also plan to visit again in the future, as we want to visit some of the places we learnt about such as the Bellu Cemetery, the resting place of Iulia Hasdeu - one of the stories that Gabriella told us which I was fascinated by. Highly recommended tour
