This comprehensive, private one-day tour of Bucharest provides an optimal chance to see the city’s major sites and aspects. Your journey starts with a pick-up from your hotel, followed by a visit to the city’s top attraction, the Palace of Parliament, where an inside tour is included. After, we’ll proceed to the Ceaușescu mansion, the residence of the Communist dictator for nearly a quarter-century, which includes an indoor tour. The next stop is the Village Museum, Bucharest’s second most popular tourist spot. Here, an open-air museum tour and lunch will be provided. We’ll also visit the House of the Communist Newspaper, the triumphal arch, the Romanian Athenaeum, the Royal Palace, the 1989 Revolution Square, the historic center, the Old Princely Court established by Vlad the Impaler, and other historical locations.
- To visit the Parliament you must have a ID or passport with you
- In order to visit the interior of Parliament, you must book this tour at least 24 hours in advance to have time to make a reservation
- On Monday the Ceausescu Mansion is closed
- On public holidays some tourist attractions may be closed

Great tour to visit Bucarest in a single day - The main attractions were in the tour with enough time to explore them. Sebastian, the guide, made tour without any rush giving us a lesson about each place we visited and an about the Romanian history with details of the communist era. It took about eight from the pick up to the drop off. Be prepared to walk a bit and for staircases specially in the parliament building.

Great tour of Bucharest! - Amazing tour of Bucharest with Vlad. Visited most of the important sites, including the Parliament. Vlad was very informative and entertaining. Highly recommend!!!!

A nice day in Bucharest - Excellent day of visit with our tour guide Bogdan with a good walk around the city and a good conversation with our local guide.
This tour includes all the big local attractions and our guide made some good recommendations for the rest of our stay as well. Highlight are definitely all attraction tickets are already reserved (seems not reservable online as well) - save time and effort there for sure. The whole day is very smooth from the beginning to the end.
Definitely worth the visit if you would like to know more about the city.

All you can enjoy in Bucharest - Have a short weekend stay in Bucharest and would like to dedicate as much time as possible to the city, and realize this tour is perfect!
Our tour guide Bogdan show up on-time at hotel and started our day with a walk around in the old town - so many beautiful attractions! We also have many good conversations with him as well about the city, history, culture - definitely a lot of good insights from a local guide!
Then the tour continues to visit Palace of Parliament and the Ceaușescu Mansion - all tickets already reserved/booked just show up and visit which is a big plus! Definitely worth it and saves all the waitings in line! (since it may not be that easy for a foreigner to get these tickets - they are not online anyway)
After that we visited other places and our guide Bogdan does make some good recommendations when the tour ends in case we have other places that would like to visit in the following days. Feel like we have a better experience with the city and definitely something we would recommend if you have a day in Bucharest.

One day bucharest - Seeing main attractions in one day with a local guide. Although it was a very long day and could only go for 8 vs 9 hours due to being too tired.
